The water cooler is an object that is used to force students to change into the locker room, electrocute or burn them. It is an alternative to the water bucket trap.
Gameplay and Usage[]
- Use a bucket to fill the water cooler with a liquid of your choice (water, blood, gasoline, or brown paint).
- Poke a hole in the water cooler with a sharp small bladed weapon.
- Cover the hole with masking tape from the Art Club.
- Use spool of thread from the sewing room to set up a tripwire that will pull the masking tape off of the water cooler if anyone walks by it.
This will cause the water cooler to spray water over anyone (Excluding Senpai, Teachers, Raibaru Fumetsu, and the Student Council members) who walks in front of it. Student Council and teachers that walk in front of the water cooler, however, will dismantle the tripwire trap. Students wearing their club attire will also dodge the water cooler trap, resulting in wasted liquid.
A student who sees the protagonist set the trap, and is lured to go through the trap, will dismantle the trap themselves.
A student wearing a swimsuit will not be affected by the water spray.
When someone has already fallen into the trap, the water cooler will leave puddles of water, the player can take advantage of this to electrocute anyone who passes through the puddles with the car battery.

- It was implemented in the March 1st, 2022 Build but became fully functional in the March 11th build.
- It was implemented because YandereDev didn't like the water bucket trap mechanic at all and the problems that the trap brought with it.[1][2]
