The Ventilation System is used to send a horrible stench to any room in the school and make the people inside evacuate the area. The ventilation machine is located on the rooftop.
Gameplay[]
If you approach the ventilation machine while holding a stink bomb, the protagonist will be able to send a horrible stench to any room in the school. Interacting with the machine will open up an interface that lets the protagonist select which room they'd like to send the stench to.
The stench will last for 60 seconds. During that time, anyone who comes into contact with the stink cloud will run outside of the school to get fresh air until the time runs out.
During Week 2, the player has the option to disable the ventilation system in the Home Ec Room. It is the last step of sabotaging the stove in order to create explosion risk and eliminate Amai Odayaka.
If the stink bomb is sent to the Headmaster's Office, he will disappear for that duration of the period, which is needed to complete Sonoko Sakanoue task.
Trivia[]
- This became a fully functional mechanic on the May 24th, 2022 build.
- It is not possible to send a stink bomb to the counselor's office. This is because Genka and Mae are too professional to abandon their duties simply due to a bad smell.
- Info-Chan has sabotaged the ventilation system, making it impossible to send a stink bomb to the Info-Club.
- YandereDev doesn't think it's a good idea to add the ability to use poison to kill or sedate people in a room.[1]
