Umeko Uchiyama is one of the female students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.
Appearance[]
Umeko wears the default 1980s uniform.
She has bright strawberry blonde hair that's ties into two large, low pigtails. Her bangs are straight, falling above her eyebrows. She has cobalt blue eyes.
Before the January 17th, 2022 Build, she had mousy brown hair and pastel blue eyes.

Among the personas that are currently implemented in the game, Umeko is a Snitch. If she sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, she will run to the landline phone in the Faculty Room and call the police. She cannot participate in physical fights against murderers.
Routine[]

At 7:05 AM, Umeko enters the school grounds. She walks to her locker at 7:10 AM and changes from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, she walks to the east wing corner of the third floor and practices her keytar.

At 8:00 AM, she then walks into Classroom 1-1 and sits at her desk. She starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM, and leaves to go eat lunch outside of the Light Music Club at 1:00 PM.
She afterwards walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. During cleaning time, she can be seen cleaning toilets in the same third floor bathroom.
At 4:00 PM, she lastly goes back to the third floor to practice her keytar and at 4:54 PM and visits the Light Music Club and to rehearse with her club members for an upcoming song until the end of the day.
If the Light Music Club is disbanded, she will still go to the east wing corner of the third floor and practice playing the keytar.

Week 2[]
Umeko will quickly rush to her locker and change into her shoes at 7:00 AM. Afterwards, she then goes to sit down and read by the Indoor Cafeteria.
At 8:15 AM, Umeko will run to Classroom 1-1 and sits at her desk and starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, she leaves to go to the outside of the Science Club to eat her lunch at 1:00 PM.
Then, she runs back to class again at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, she sit down to read by the Workshop, and stays there until the end of the day.
On Thursday, she will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read till the end of the day.
Week 3[]
Umeko will quickly rush to her locker and change into her shoes at 7:00 AM. Afterwards, she then goes to sit down and read by Classroom 2-1.
At 8:15 AM, Umeko will run to Classroom 1-1 and sits at her desk and starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, she leaves to go to the outside of the Sociology Classroom to eat her lunch at 1:00 PM.
Then, she runs back to class again at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, she sits down to read by the Science Lab, and stays there until the end of the day.
On Thursday, she will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read till the end of the day.
On Friday, she will instead read outside of the Biology Lab, and will eat her lunch outside of Classroom 1-2.

At 8:15 AM, Umeko will run to Classroom 1-1 and sits at her desk and starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, she leaves to go eat her lunch on the west side stairs leading up to the rooftop.
Then, she runs back to class again at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, she will go back outside to sit down and read by the Girls' Shower Room, and stays there until the end of the day.
On Thursday, she will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read till the end of the day.
On Friday, she will instead read outside of the Biology Lab, and will eat her lunch outside of Classroom 1-2.
Week 5[]

At 7:00 AM, Umeko enters the school grounds. She walks to her locker at 7:05 AM and changes from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. She walks to the Shower Room to change into her swimsuit and then heads the Swimming Pool area to sunbathe with Ritsuko Chikanari and other students at 7:15 AM.
At 8:00 AM, she then walks into Classroom 1-1 and sits at her desk. She starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM, and leaves the classroom at 1:00 PM. During lunchtime, she goes and has lunch with Omi Ohara, outside of the Light Music Club.
She lastly walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and heads back to the pool area at 3:30 PM to continue sunbathing for the rest of the day.
If the pool sign is placed, she will instead head to Classroom 1-1 and wait for classes to start.

Week 6[]
At 7:05 AM, Umeko enters the school grounds. She walks to her locker at 7:10 AM and changes from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. Umeko then heads to the Gymnasium along with the other Light Music Club members to perform Ai's song until 8:00 AM, where she heads to Classroom 1-1 and sits at her desk and starts taking her morning lessons at 8:30 AM
At 1:00 PM, Umeko leaves her classroom to go eat lunch outside of the Light Music Club at 1:00 PM.
She afterwards walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. After cleaning time concludes, she heads back to the Gymnasium, and continues perform Ai's song for the rest of the day.
Week 7[]
Umeko will quickly rush to her locker and change into her shoes at 7:00 AM. Afterwards, she heads up the west side stairs leading up to the second floor to sit down and read.
At 8:15 AM, Umeko will run to Classroom 1-1 and sits at her desk and starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, she leaves to go eat her lunch outside of the Science Lab.

- Her name, Umeko (梅子), means "plum tree child".
- Her surname, Uchiyama (内山), is a common Japanese surname which means "the inside of the mountain".
- Along with many students in 1980s Mode, her appearance was given based off on a pre-existing model.
- It also closely resembles a fan-made redesign for Amai Odayaka. [2]
