Toga Tabara is one of the male students who currently attends Akademi.
Appearance[]
Toga has short messy brown hair with short tufts of hair along the back and side of his head. He has bangs swept to the left and a tuft of hair aligning his chin on both sides of his head. He has four tufts of hair in a spiral on top of his head. His eyes are pear green.
He wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player.
Personality[]

A student who is struggling to determine what he is going to do with his life after graduating. Last year, he spent time as a member of each club, but didn’t feel like he belonged in any of them. He can often be seen wandering the school aimlessly, deep in thought, contemplating his future.
Among the Personas that are currently implemented in the game, Toga is a Loner. If he sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, he will run out of school and call the Police. He cannot participate in physical fights against murderers. Although he is a Loner, he reacts to the camera the same way Heroic students and Teacher's Pets do. The same thing also happens to Kyuji Konagawa.
His worst fear is regretting the way that he spent his youth, which is why he spends so much time contemplating what he should do with his life.[2]
When Toga was in the all female clubs (Gardening and Light Music Club), he felt he was "ruining" the dynamic of the clubs. He was never mistreated by the members, but he believed his own presence was causing the clubs' vibe to be thrown off. This is a partial reason as to why he never stuck to either two of these clubs.[3] Another reason for joining every club was because he kept wondering if he would be happier in a different club.[4]

At 7:00 AM, Toga enters the school grounds. He walks to his locker at 7:03 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes.
At 7:04, he checks out the right-wing first floor corridor before heading outside at 7:06.
At 7:15 AM, he wanders the corridors, stopping outside different clubs and rooms aimlessly. He stops at each venue for a short while to think deeply, then moves on. At 8:00 AM, he walks to Classroom 3-2, sits at his desk and plays on his phone. He starts morning classes at 8:30 AM.
He leaves to eat his lunch at the Cafeteria or Rooftop at 1:00 PM. He walks back to class at 1:30 PM.
He participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterwards, he heads to his locker and changes from his indoor shoes to his outdoor shoes, lingers there until 3:50 PM, then walks out of school.
Week 2[]
At 7:00 AM, Toga enters the school grounds, walks to his locker and changes his shoes. He will then sit and read by the shoe lockers.
At 8:15 AM, Toga will walk to Classroom 3-2, sits at his desk and plays on his phone. He starts morning classes at 8:30 AM. He leaves to eat his lunch outside Classroom 1-2 at 1:00 PM.
He participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will sit and read outside of Classroom 1-2 until the end of the day.

Toga's parents do understand and relate to his inability to decide his future, but they feel that he should decide quickly before he turns into a "fail-to-launch guy who never gets a job or leaves his parent's house". [5]
- Sister
Toga's sister is a popular cosplayer. After she noticed that her lewd cosplays got more attention than her tasteful ones, she started making her cosplays more risqué and without dignity. This not only disappointed Toga,[6] but also annoyed him. He believes the social media attention is corrupting and changing her into someone who no longer resembles the person he grew up with and respected. This reason is also why Toga dislikes the topic of cosplay.[6] YandereDev tweaked his topics on the December 15th, 2024 build to confirm this.

Trivia[]
- He was implemented in the January 15th, 2019 Build.
- He was the first student able to be poisoned with a sedative and headache poison.
- YandereDev stated that he was the "guinea pig" for poison testing, similarly to how Kokona Haruka was the "guinea pig" for elimination methods.
- He along with Taro Yamada and Ayano Aishi are the only ones with neutral reputation "0" by default.
- According to his additional info, he is the only student who joined every single club in Akademi.
- Since he's joined every club, he's not allowed to rejoin any of them.
- Toga is currently one of ten students who has a bounty, with others being Ryuto Ippongo, Fureddo Jonzu, Umeji Kizuguchi, Horuda Puresu, Otohiko Meichi, Hazu Kashibuchi, Kyuji Konagawa, Uekiya Engeika, and Horo Guramu.
- Toga's original bounty was him peeping in the girl's bathroom. However, in the May 15th 2024 build, his bounty was changed to being framed as a pervert as YandereDev realized that Toga's old bounty was inconsistent with his character.
- Toga thinks that Kizana Sunobu is a jerk.[7]
- Pretty much every club leader thought it was really lame that Toga joined them for 7 week and then left.[8]
