Hiding

Hiding is a way for Ayano Aishi to conceal herself from NPCs.

Gameplay

If the player gets close enough to a hiding area, the option "Hide" will appear. Once pressed, Ayano will conceal herself in the hiding spot and remain there unless commanded to leave. No students are able to see her when she is hiding.

Once she is hiding, she is able to hear a Rival talking to someone or taking private phone calls (currently Osana's) without the rival noticing her. She may also hide from Nemesis in Mission Mode.

Hiding Areas

• Two folded up tables and a box in front of the Announcement Room on the Third Floor.
• Two folded up tables and 5 boxes in front of the bathrooms on the far eastern side of the First Floor.

Bugs

• If the player hides from a teacher who is chasing them, the teacher will run in circles around the area, but cannot get to the player unless they come out. (no longer available as of April 25th, 2019)
• A corpse can be carried at the same time as when the player is hiding, which will cause the corpse to clip through the walls and table. If any teacher sees the corpse after the player comes out of the hiding spot, they will treat the corpse as a deceased student on the ground instead of chasing the player.
• If Ayano hides in the hiding spot or stand near the hiding spot with the "Hide" prompt on, Nemesis will spin in circles and won't be able to get her.
  • Nowadays she'll just stand still and do nothing untill Ayano comes out.
• Students will still look at Ayano, acknowledging her presence. Even if she's hiding.

• Hiding was implemented in the March 31st, 2016 Build.
