Togo Atatsuma (a.k.a Dandy Pompadour) is one of the male students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.
Before he was reintroduced in 1980s Mode, he was a delinquent and one of the students who attended Akademi in 202X Mode.
Appearance[]
Togo wears the default 1980s uniform, except that his blazer is unbuttoned, revealing a black shirt, and carries a weapon bag, containing a pipe.
Togo has black hair done into a pompadour hairstyle with spiky strands at the end. He has brown eyes.

Among the personas that are currently implemented, Togo is Violent. If Ryoba Aishi gets too close to him, he will push her away. If she initiates a fight with him, he will fight until either one of them is injured. If he loses, he will drop his weapon.
If he sees Ryoba carrying a corpse or murdering someone, he will run up to her and begin a combat mini-game and will not stop attacking her until the player fails a button prompt, or until Ryoba kills him.
If he sees Ryoba bloody or insane, he will only mock her and not lower her reputation.

At 7:20 AM, Togo enters the school grounds. He walks to his locker at 7:30 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:40 AM, he walks to the incinerator, and talks with Shichiro, Taichi, Saburo, and Seishiro.
At 8:30 AM, Togo walks into Classroom 2-2 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:40 AM, and leaves to go to the incinerator at 1:00 PM.
Togo walks back to class again at 1:40 PM and goes to the incinerator between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM.
Previous[]
Togo spawned by the left side of the disposal area at 7:15 AM. He disappeared at 8:30 AM and returned at 1:15 PM. He disappeared again at 1:30 PM, this time for the rest of the day.
Task[]

"Togo Atatsuma is being antagonized by a local gang. Talk to him outside of the school gates after 3:30 PM to defeat his enemies in a brawl."
Togo's task is to defeat a local gang that he provoked, as an attempt to live the same way as his brother. To complete this task, meet Togo at 3:30 PM in the front of the school and talk to him. This will load up a mini-game to beat up the gang. Upon defeat, Togo will thank you, and he repays you by unlocking The Yakuza in Town. *You won't be able to get this task if you used the debug page and pressed the S key. It glitches out and won't allow you to get the task.

Togo's brother is involved in the Yakuza, as hinted at in his Student Profile. He idolizes him and wants to be like him, however, the Yakuza strongly discourages him to also be involved.

- He was implemented in the March 2nd, 2016 Build, removed in the April 26th, 2018 Build, and was re-implemented in the October 10th, 2021 Build (a.k.a 1980s Mode).
- He kept his identity hidden so that it was harder to link him to his crimes.[2]
- The tō part of his name can be written as "eastern" (東), "winter" (冬), or "wisteria" (藤).
- If his name is written as Tōgo, the go part is written as "I, my, one's own" (吾).
- If his name is written as Tōgō, the gō part is written as "home town, village" (郷).
- His surname, Atatsuma, may be a typo of Agatsuma, a real-life Japanese surname. Agatsuma is written as "above, wife" (上妻) or "my wife" (吾妻)
- If Togo was killed or gone missing, the Yakuza will no longer appear in the town at night.
- YandereDev does not currently plan for the player to have the ability to reform Togo.[3]
- He is the only 1980's Mode student who has a specific task other than rivals.
