Tadaaki Sunada is one of the male students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.
Appearance[]
Current[]
Tadaaki has thick, collar-length dark brown hair swept to the right. His bangs are as unkempt as the rest of his hair, with one strand reaching his eyebrow and another reaching into his eye. His eyes are violet.
If the player tells his Ai Doruyashi's hairstyle preference in order to matchmake him with her, he smooth down his back hair and tie a small tuft into a spread out ponytail with a blue hair tie on the back of his head or slick back his bangs except for a strand on the left swept to the right.
He wears the default 1980s uniform with light grey bandages wrapped around his palms.
Previous[]
Before the November 21st, 2022 Build, he had shoulder-length grey-brown hair that parted on his left, with two strands jutting out from the nape of his neck. His bangs swept over his forehead, the longest strands reaching his eyelashes. His eyes were also grey, and he wore a red headband.
Before the October 21st, 2024 Build, he had strawberry blond hair with semi-long bangs, aqua-blue eyes, and freckles on his cheeks.
Personality[]
Experienced severe bullying when he was younger due to his love for girly pop music and idols. Joined the Martial Arts Club to learn self defense and protect himself from any further abuse.
Among the Personas that are currently implemented in the game, Tadaaki is Heroic. If he sees a corpse, he will act upon the Teacher's Pet persona. If he sees Ryoba Aishi commit murder, he will run up to her and fight her. He has strong Self-Defense when fighting against murderers.
Routine[]
Week 1, 7, 8, 9, and 10[]

At 7:05 AM, Tadaaki enters the school grounds with the rest of the Martial Arts Club. He walks to his locker at 7:10 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, he walks to the Martial Arts Club on the second floor and spars with Maaya Ohshi. He also goes to the Zen Gardens with the rest of the Martial Arts Club members and spars with Maaya there as well.
At 8:00 AM, Tadaaki walks into Classroom 3-1 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM, and leaves to go to the outside of the Martial Arts Club to eat his lunch at 1:00 PM. Tadaaki walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterwards, he heads to the Martial Arts Club room and stays there until the end of the day. If Ryoba joins in club activities, he practices kicking with the other members from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

If the Martial Arts Club is inactive, Tadaaki will still go to the Zen Gardens with the rest of the former members and spar with Maaya.
On Week 7-10, he will practice sparing on his own while Sachihiko Fukuoka watches him.
Week 2[]
Tadaaki will quickly rush to his locker and change his shoes at 7:00 AM. He then heads upstairs to sit and read in Classroom 3-2.
At 8:15 AM, Tadaaki will run to Classroom 3-1 and sit at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. He leaves to eat his lunch by the stairs leading to the third floor at 1:00 PM.
He runs back to class at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will head outside to to sit and read by the Swimming Pool until the end of the day.
On Thursday, he will not participate in cleaning time and will instead sit and read until the end of the day.
Week 3[]
Tadaaki will quickly rush to his locker and change his shoes at 7:00 AM. He then heads to the third floor to sit and read outside of Classroom 3-2.
At 8:15 AM, Tadaaki will run to Classroom 3-1 and sit at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. He leaves to eat his lunch outside Classroom 3-1 at 1:00 PM.
He runs back to class at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will head outside to sit and read by the pool until the end of the day.
On Thursday, he will not participate in cleaning time and will instead sit and read until the end of the day.
On Friday, he will instead head outside to read by the girls' shower room and eat his lunch outside the Student Council Room.
Week 4[]
Tadaaki will quickly rush to his locker and change his shoes at 7:00 AM. He then heads to the second floor to sit and read outside the Workshop.
At 8:15 AM, Tadaaki will run to Classroom 3-1 and sit at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. He leaves to eat his lunch in the Cafeteria at 1:00 PM.
He runs back to class at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will head to the shoe lockers to sit and read until the end of the day.
On Thursday, he will not participate in cleaning time and will instead sit and read until the end of the day.
On Friday, he will instead head outside to read by the girls' shower room and eat his lunch outside the Student Council Room.

At 8:15 AM, Tadaaki will run to Classroom 3-1 and sit at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. He leaves to eat his lunch by the doors leading to the Rooftop at 1:00 PM.

During week 6, Tadaaki will deviate from his regular routine to follow Ai Doruyashi around the school from time to time. When he is not stalking her, he will spend time in the Plaza.

Ai Doruyashi[]

Tadaaki has a crush on Ai and is her suitor. If he is matched with Ai, the two will begin a romantic relationship with each other, which will eliminate Ai. If he witnesses Ai being murdered, he will try to apprehend Ryoba.
His student profile says that he is a fan of female pop music; this may be the reason why he fell in love with her.

- The "tada" in his given name, Tadaaki, can be written as "sincere" (忠), "emphasis" (唯), or "however" (但). "Aki" can be written in many different ways, including "disciplined" (章), "completion" (了), "autumn" (秋), and "sensible" (顕).[2]
- His surname, Sunada, is written as 砂田, meaning "sandy rice paddy."
- He was a Snitch prior to the October 25th update.[3]
- In the November 21st, 2022 build, Tadaaki’s appearance was changed to Sachihiko Fukuoka's old appearance.
- Tadaaki was given Zenji Shinokura's hairstyle in the 1980's Revamp update.
- He, along with Horo Guramu, Iruka Dorufino, and Daizo Momose are the only students who have a unique face.
