Sumire Suzuki is one of the female students who currently attends Akademi.

Current[]
Sumire has waist-length violet hair done in a french braid with split bangs with multiple strands of hair down her forehead on both sides. She has two dark green flowers in her hair, one on each side, and her eyes are emerald green.
She wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player. She brings a dark green watering can to school.
Previous[]
Before the October 1st, 2024 Build, her watering can was purple.
Before the July 1st, 2018 Build, she had long dark brown hair with a flat ponytail that was tied from two braids on both sides of her hair and small white flowers around the back of her head.
Personality[]
A pure-minded girl who is as innocent as possible. Doesn't understand double-entendres, which provides her friends with an endless source of amusement.

Among the Personas that are currently implemented in the game, Sumire is a Social Butterfly. She will happily pose for a picture if Ayano Aishi aims her Phone at her face. If she sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, she will run to the nearest crowded area and call the Police. If Ayano approaches, she will scream for her to go away, and if Ayano commits another murder in her eyesight, she will curl into a ball. She is incapable of self-defense.
Sumire is a girl with an extremely pure and innocent mind, to the point of not understanding double meanings. This was shown on the school's website, where she mistook "hentai" for "hen tie". Because of this, presumably, she is very naïve.
According to YandereDev, people perceive Sumire's simple mind and innocence as "endearing".[2]
Just like Komako Funakoshi and Muja Kina, she is one of the purest girls in the game, as she doesn't think about romance or intimacy.[3]
Routine[]
At 7:00 AM, Sumire enters the school grounds with the rest of the Gardening Club. She walks to her locker at 7:05 AM and changes from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, she walks to the third floor and waters the plants by the stairs.

At 8:00 AM, she walks to Classroom 1-2, sits at her desk and plays on her phone. She starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM and leaves to eat her lunch outside the Gardening Club at 1:00 PM.
She walks back to class at 1:22 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, she heads to the Gardening Club and stays there until the end of the day.
If the Gardening Club disbands, she will still arrange the flowers on the third floor.

- Her name, Sumire, has many different kanji spellings, but it is likely "菫", meaning "violet (flower)".
- She shares the same first name with Sumire Saitozaki.
- Her surname, Suzuki (鈴木), is one of the most popular surnames in Japan, meaning "bell wood", "bell tree", or "bud tree".
- She shares the same surname with Daichi Suzuki.
- On the school website, she makes a typo. Instead of typing "school", she typed "shcool".
