Struggle mini game with Mina Rai.
The level of strength, also known as self-defense, determines how well a character is able to defend themselves against the protagonist and vice-versa.
Gameplay[]
The protagonist's level of strength not only affects the difficulty of fighting and struggle mini games, but also her running speed and the ability to carry a 50-kg Weight. In order to increase her strength, she has to invest Study Points in Physical Education. If she joins the Sports Club, her running speed will additionally increase, and if she joins the Martial Arts Club, she will gain the ability to struggle against faculty members.
Other students have predetermined levels of strength; however, it only determines how difficult it will be to struggle against them if they do try to apprehend the protagonist, and not their reaction to a direct attack. A student will try to apprehend the protagonist if they have a heroic persona, witnessed her killing their close one, and in a few other specific circumstances.
Some of the characters have unique mechanics that differ from the normal strength level. Faculty members had gone through a special martial arts training, so the protagonist has to join the martial arts club in order to be able to kill or struggle against them. Characters who carry a pepper spray will apprehend the protagonist on the spot regardless of her strength. Characters with "invincible" strength level are impossible to kill or struggle against except some specific circumstances and difficulty settings.
| Strength Level | List of Students |
|---|---|
| Incapable (0) | This is the level of self-defense most NPCs have. As the mini game slider never moves towards the broken heart, they will always lose to the protagonist regardless of the circumstances. They still can, however, apprehend her if she isn't holding a small weapon when the mini game starts. |
