Trivia[]

  • YandereDev plans to rewrite most of the dialogues on Yancord.[1]
  • Most of the apps and websites are references to the real sites. Sai-Press is a reference to Wordpress, Sai-X — to X (formerly Twitter), Sai-Space — to MySpace, Sai-Blur — to Tumblr, Kaobook — to Facebook, and Yancord — to Discord.
  • Occasionally, the characters make references to the apps the player cannot access directly.
    • According to Amai on Friday, Week 2, she has Saikougram, which is a reference to Instagram.
    • According to Kokoro Momoiro when exposing Osana Najimi's secret on Kaobook, there is another website called fansmut.jp on which Osana posted fanfiction about the boys she liked.
    • In Classroom 2-2, there are laptops for absent students with the screen of the laptops showing another social media platform called SaiMeet, which is a reference to Google Meet.
  • YandereDev thinks it would be more appropriate for each rival to have a unique way of acquiring their social media profiles instead of all of them needing to be acquired by the rivals' four friends.[2]
  • According to YandereDev, Megami Saikou would have the most followers on social media.[3]
    • Followed by Megami in social media popularity would be Kizana Sunobu, Amai Odayaka, and Oka Ruto. The other 202X rivals do not actively attempt to become content creators, so their followings aren't large.[4]
  • Osoro Shidesu is least likely to have social media, so it is not easy to know as to what she would post.[5][6]
  • YandereDev may add the possibility of Ayano annoymously speaking to Taro Yamada and build a relationship with him via the internet.[7]
