Smothering (also known as Suffocation) is a type of lethal elimination method used to murder students, including rivals.
Gameplay[]
To eliminate a student by smothering, the protagonist needs to poison the student's bento during lunchtime from 1:00 PM to 1:23 PM with sedatives that can be obtained in the Convenience store in Buraza Town, in the Insane Asylum, or Info-chan's Drops menu for 50 Info points. They can also be crafted in the Science Lab using Acetone and Chloroform if the protagonist's chemistry rank is 3. Sedatives can also grown in the gardening greenhouse if the protagonist is a member of the Gardening Club, as the process will take 4 days to acquire one.

The poisoned student will then rush to the Infirmary and lay on one of the cots. An option will then appear to smother them with a pillow. The player can hold "F" to begin the process. The protagonist will grab the pillow from the same cot, hold it with two hands, and shove it up the student's face. The victim will struggle and try to break out of the suffocation, even trying to pull down the protagonist in an attempt to stop her. Eventually, they will lose oxygen and they will pass out.
If an NPC sees the protagonist murder this method. they would react depending on their persona. Some will run to safety, others will try to apprehend the protagonist or beg for their life to be spared.
Trivia[]
- The elimination method was added on the February 15th, 2025 build.
- The are currently no sound effects or voice lines for suffocating to death. They will be added in future.[1]
- Eventually, the protagonist may need to raise their strength stat to successfully perform a smothering.[1]
