Quotes[]
Recently, the only people I've been sparring with are the other members of the martial arts club. I value the lessons I've learned from them...but I'm worried about something.
I'm starting to fear that if I don't branch out and find new partners to spar with, I'll never learn anything new or grow as a martial artist.
I want to spar with someone who can beat me in combat. If I suffer the agony of defeat, then surely, I will learn where my weaknesses are, and I'll be able to improve as a fighter.
That's great news! Talk to Budo and let him know you want to have a match with me.
I see. Don't worry, I won't take it personally.
That was...quite a humbling experience. I didn't expect you to claim victory so easily! Clearly, I have been overestimating my abilities. You've taught me a very valuable lesson today...thank you!
