Security Systems Gallery

Security Systems are implemented in Akademi under certain circumstances and can be enabled by the player in Mission Mode.

Gameplay[]

For each corpse discovered by the police, a camera will spawn the next day. If a student council member was murdered or went missing, all security systems will be installed the next day. They will not be uninstalled under any circumstances, even if the School Atmosphere improves.

The protagonist can disable all security systems using the control panel in Announcement Room with a Faculty Keycard, which can be obtained from the Faculty Room.

Security Cameras[]

Security cameras record everything in their cone of vision, constantly turning left and right. Being caught on cameras while holding a corpse, being visibly insane, covered in blood, or holding a suspicious weapon will result in a game over, unless the protagonist disables security systems before the police arrive. However, carrying cleaning equipment and other inappropriate or weird, but not incriminating behavior, will not be taken into account.

In the Mission Mode, being caught on a camera while doing anything suspicious will cause an immediate game over.

The protagonist can join the Drama Club to gain access to Masks and hide her identity on cameras. However, if the police will find the footage, Akademi will ban the masks and get rid of them to prevent such cases in the future.

The cameras are installed near the main entrances to the main building and Incinerator Area, Outdoor Cafeteria, Shower Rooms, rooftop entrances, and staircases. The maximum amount of cameras is 22.

Security cameras appear above the following places in this order:

  1. School entrance (right camera);
  2. School entrance (left camera);
  3. Incinerator area;
  4. Outdoor cafeteria;
  5. Boys' locker room;
  6. Girls' locker room;
  7. Floor 1, southwestern staircase;
  8. Floor 1, southeastern staircase;
  9. Floor 1, northwestern staircase;
  10. Floor 1, northeastern staircase;
  11. Floor 2 staircases (same order as on Floor 1);
  12. Floor 3 staircases (same order as on Floor 1);
  13. Rooftop exits (one camera per exit, same order as on Floor 1).

Metal Detectors[]

Metal detectors will automatically pepper-spray the protagonist if she has a metallic weapon in her hands, Inventory, or bags. They will not detect weapons made out of other materials.

A Weapon Bag can be padded with tinfoil to prevent them from detecting weapons hidden inside; however, it's not possible to pad a book bag to conceal metal items such as car battery. Alternatively, the protagonist can disable metal detectors using a screwdriver from the Workshop.

They will only be placed if all security cameras were already installed. They're installed only in the main building in the south hallways of each floor, blocking out the classrooms.

Trivia[]

  • The metal detectors are made by Saikou Corp.
  • If the player presses 3 in the Easter Eggs menu, all characters' heads will be replaced with security cameras.
  • Nemesis wields a ceramic knife in order to bypass metal detectors.[1]
