The second week of the Story Mode events revolve around Ayano's second rival, Amai Odayaka. During this week, Amai will run a bake sale in the plaza to help her family's bakery.
Events[]
Monday[]
At 7:00 AM, Amai Odayaka and Taro Yamada talk by the school gates. Amai tells Taro about a Bake Sale happening on the Plaza, and convinces him to visit the sale at lunchtime to give him free sweets.
After going through the school gates, Amai gets a phone call from her mother, and runs to the eastern side of the school entrance to accept the call.
- If the player eavesdrops on this conversation, they can find out that Amai's parents found rats in their bakery's kitchen. Amai attempts to suspect that the new bakery is sabotaging them, but ends up interrupted by her mother on the call, she gives up.
At 7:05 AM, Sakyu and Inkyu Basu talk on a bench near one of the fountains. Inkyu asks her sister did she saw "new transfer" student, to which Sakyu answers that it's not a transfer student, but Amai. She also explains that Amai was absent due to the fact that her parents needed extra hands in bakery. Lastly, she tells about Bake Sale happening and if Inkyu would like to help Amai, she can buy few pastries. She also adds that she shouldn't buy many of them, because she will sulk over how much weight she's gained.
At 7:16 AM, Amai leaves her bookbag in Classroom 2-2.
At 7:21 AM, Amai thanks her friends (Shoku, Kenko, Seiyo, Ajia and Saki) for agreeing to help her in the bake sale, and tells them their schedule.
- If the Cooking Club was closed, Amai will sulk infront of it while her remaining friends will look at her.
At 1:02 PM, Senpai comes to plaza and tries the sweets and tells that they are good.
- If the events were sabotaged, Senpai and Amai will go on the Rooftop, where he tells that others got sick because of Amai's pastries.
Tuesday[]
At 7:00 AM, Amai will ask Senpai if he knows how to cook, Senpai admits he hasn't cooked anything in his life. Amai will offer Senpai to cook with her, though Senpai is worried that he'll make a mess. Amai offers to make him an apron with his favorite color, black, so it can make him cool and stylish while trying to cook.
At 7:05 AM, Inkyu and Sakyu Basu talk at the eastern fountain. Inkyu asks her older sister, if something wrong with the gym teacher, which Sakyu tells that a gang of delinquents from another school want to beat up one of students. Because of that, Kyoshi is watching the school gates in case of them coming.
At 7:12 AM, Amai leaves her bookbag in Classroom 2-2.
At 7:15 AM, Amai sews an apron for Senpai, and later she leaves it next to her desk.
At 1:01 PM, Amai gives Taro the apron. If Ayano didn't put the other one, he will thank her for making it, and tell her that he can't wait to use it.
Wednesday[]
At 7:00 AM, Amai asks Senpai if he knows how to cook now, which he applies negatively, Amai then gives a beginner recipe to Taro and tells him, that she won't be able to help him during this time.
At 7:05 AM, Inkyu and Sakyu Basu talk at the eastern fountain. Inkyu asks her older sister, asks her older sister about the fact that delinquents are walking freely in the Akademi, Sakyu explains that they are still here due to guidance counselor realized that they are just doing an act, in order to not get bullied again. Sakyu also tells that they could change their schedule to scare off potential bullies when they see a bullied student, however as of now, it's not seen anywhere in the game.
At 7:09 AM, Senpai will follow the recipe that Amai gave him.
At 7:10 AM, Amai leaves her bookbag in Classroom 2-2.
At 1:01 PM, Amai asks Senpai how did the dish taste, if the event wasn't sabotaged, he will say it turned out great.
Thursday[]
Before the start of the day, a small cutscene will be shown, hinting towards Amai's Specific Elimination. On the way to school, Taro tells Amai about being scared of dangerous kitchen equipment, including a gas stove and questions it's use. Amai will explain that gas stoves are used to do meals that can only be made by them. She also explains how she's always checking about it's safety, or if it does not leak.
At 7:00 AM, Amai invites Senpai to a picnic next to rose bushes nearby the Gymnasium. Taro is asking about bugs being there, with Amai answering him that there's nothing attracting them to this place.
At 7:05 AM Sakyu and Inkyu Basu talk at the eastern fountain. Inkyu tells her sister that she didn't see the school librarian even once in the library, and believes she will probably get in trouble for neglecting her duties. Sakyu explains that the position of librarian in Akademi is a voluntary one, and aren't needed as students can check out books by themselves. Inkyu says that she probably got tired of it due to loneliness, which the older sister tells that there's also a possibility that Kumi's pretending to be emotionless made people not visit the Library.
At 7:10 AM, Amai leaves her bookbag in Classroom 2-2.
At 1:05 PM, Amai and Senpai will go eat next to the rose bushes.
- If the events were sabotaged, Senpai and Amai will go eat somewhere else, due to insects swarming this place.
At 4:02 PM, Amai makes ingredients for pastries that she will serve on Friday.
- Ayano could sabotage the stove in order to eliminate Amai via explosion.
Friday[]
At 7:00 AM, Amai will tell Senpai that she has an Saikougram account and makes cake art in there, she offers Senpai to visit her account and check her art.
At 7:05 AM, the Basu sisters talk near the eastern fountain. Inkyu asks her older sister why others are reading books in the hallways, and why they weren't doing the same a week ago. Sakyu explains that as the first week is usually easy, starting off the second week, most students need to sacrifice their free time on studying. Sakyu also adds that she doesn't know why they pick hallways as a place to study, instead of more sensable place like a library.
At 7:10 AM, Amai leaves her bookbag in Classroom 2-2.
At 7:12 AM, Amai finishes the cake in the Home Ec Room, and posts it on her Saikougram.
At 1:01 PM, On rooftop, Senpai will check Amai's art.
At 5:25 PM, Amai will confess to Senpai under the Cherry Tree behind the school, at 6:00PM. If the player doesn't sabotage the events or fails to eliminate her before 6:00PM, Senpai will happily accept her confession. But if they successfully eliminate her or sabotage all the events before the deadline, Senpai will reject her confession. If Ayano successfully matchmade Amai and her suitor, after some hesitation, Amai will decide to confess to Shoku Tsuburaya.
Weekends[]
In the dialogue, Kizana, a theatrical director, approaches Taro with fervent enthusiasm, declaring him ideal for the lead role in her upcoming stageplay due to the palpable sorrow and emotional distress evident on his face. She asserts that authentic artistic expression requires firsthand experience of the emotions portrayed, citing his recent personal loss as the very quality that makes him uniquely suited for the part. When Taro accuses her of seeking to exploit his suffering, Kizana reframes the proposition as an artistic imperative, invoking historical precedents such as Edvard Munch’s "The Scream" to argue that profound emotional turmoil often fuels masterpieces. Convinced by her reasoning — that channeling his grief into performance would be more constructive than passive despair — Taro tentatively acquiesces, though before he can formally consent, Kizana unilaterally initiates rehearsals, compelling him to follow her without further deliberation.
On Sunday, Ayano studies on how to prepare a meal, during that Info-chan will text Ayano about Kizana, and tell her to make her suffer.
Trivia[]
- YandereDev plans to re-design the Amai’s events before moving on to implementing Kizana. However, he is gathering the necessary resources for the third week in the meantime.[1][2]
- He says that one of the reasons why Amai's week felt "cheap" was due to the lack of interactions with other characters, so he would want to add as many logical interactions between characters.[3]
- YandereDev thinks that Amai and Uekiya Engeika would interact in this Week.[4]
- The delinquents used to go to Amai Odayaka's bake sale during Week 2, however, as of the September 1st, 2024 build, this is no longer possible. This is due to the fact that buying pastries and sweets wouldn't align with their "tough guy" façade.
- Umeji Kizuguchi wishes he could buy from the bake sale. But he doesn't do so.[5]
