Saburo Meshino

Saburo Meshino (a.k.a Spiky Pompadour) is one of the male student who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.

Appearance[]

Saburo has black hair done into a long pompadour with a few spiky strands on the back of his head. He has grey eyes.

He wears the default 1980s uniform, but his blazer is unbuttoned, revealing a black shirt. He also carries a weapon bag containing a Shinai on his back.

Among the Personas that are currently in the game, Saburo is Violent. If Ryoba Aishi gets too close to him, he will push her away. If she initiates a fight with him, he will fight until either one of them is injured. If he loses, he will drop his shinai.

If he witnesses Ryoba carrying a corpse or committing murder, he will run up to her and begin a combat minigame and if Ryoba wins, he will run out of the school and call the police.

If he sees Ryoba bloody or insane, he will only mock her and not lower her reputation.

At 7:20 AM, Saburo enters the school grounds with the other male delinquents. He walks to his locker at 7:30 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes.

At 7:40 AM, he walks to the Incinerator and talks with Shichiro Kuropasu, Togo Atatsuma, Taichi Hiranaka and Seishiro Sadanaga.

At 8:40 AM, Saburo walks into Classroom 2-2 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:40 AM, and leaves to eat lunch by the incinerator at 1:00 PM.

Saburo walks back to class again at 1:40 PM and goes to the incinerator between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM to talk to the male delinquents until the end of the day.

Saburo spawned by the left side of the disposal area at 7:15 AM. He disappeared at 8:30 AM and returned at 1:15 PM. He disappeared again at 1:30 PM, this time for the rest of the day.

Saburo was implemented in the March 2nd, 2016 build and removed in the April 26th, 2018 build.
- He was re-implemented on the October 10th, 2021 build.
Saburo kept his identity hidden so that it is harder to link him to his crimes.^[3]
Saburo's first name derives from the name, "Saburō" (三郎), a common Japanese masculine name, meaning "third son."
- His surname, Meshino, means "food" (meshi, 食) and "plain, meadow" (no, 野).
After the events of 1980s Mode, Saburo went on to become a police officer that specialized almost exclusively in undercover police work.^[4]
