Robot-chan Gallery
Robot-chan[1] is a robot being made by Homu Kurusu. She is based off Homu's deceased sister, Hisa Kurusu.[2][3]
She first appeared in the video "Club Benefits in Yandere Simulator."

Robot-chan has dark green eyes and short, dark green hair with square bangs. Robot ears stick out of her head. She has no clothing, and some of the metal on her body has not been covered.
Her appearance is shared with Homu Kurusu.

Before the March 31st, 2018 Build, Robot-chan had cyan hair and eyes.
Routine[]
Robot-chan stands on a platform in the Science Club all day, deactivated. Homu Kurusu will tinker with her throughout the school day. If Ayano completes Homu's task, Robot-chan will interact with Homu during free periods.
Gameplay[]
In the August 1st, 2024 Build, after completing Homu Kurusu's task, Ayano can use Robot-chan to kill someone. If a student is chosen, Robot-chan will grab the student, pierce through their chest, and her head will self-destruct after murdering the chosen victim. The heart will roll out on the floor after the corpse and destructed robot lay on the ground.
As of August 5th, 2024, the heart is now considered criminal evidence (more specifically a body part), and must be disposed of along the student's body and pool of blood in order not to trigger the police investigation.
The player cannot send Robot-chan to a student who is in a scripted event as of the September 1st, 2024 build.

Trivia[]
- At one point in development, YandereDev thought of having a robot student that could only appear through a cheat code. It is unknown if she had this idea.[4]
- He also previously joked about adding a "killer robot" that Ayano would train into becoming a "killing machine".[5]
- She is rumored to be modeled after Homu Kurusu's deceased twin sister.
- There's also a rumor that Homu created her as a replica of herself because she is a narcissist.
- However, Homu's task reveals that Hisa is her deceased twin sister.

- YandereDev mentions that he wanted to get the functionality of using Robot-chan to murder students, the feature will be balanced over time.[6]
- In the future, YandereDev may add the feature of Homu being arrested by the police if the majority of the player base wanted to see that. He says he didn't add it because "it would have taken time to implement" the feature.[7]
- If Ayano spars a delinquent/martial artist member while Robot-chan is out hunting for the person they are fighting, once she is close to the fight, she would stop in their spot, and wait until it is over. Which she will then pierce their hand through the person's chest.
- Hisa and Homu were inspired by the character of Chachamaru from Negima.[8]
