Okimoto Furukawa is one of the male students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.

Current[]
Okimoto has collar-length orange hair. His bangs part in the middle and fan out, the longest strands reaching his earlobes. His eyes are orange.
If the player tells him Ritsuko Chikanari's hairstyle preference in order to matchmake him with her, he will tie the end of his loose hair into a low ponytail with a white hair tie or slick back his bangs save for two strands and form ruffled layers with the rest on the back of his head.
He wears the default 1980s uniform with a yellow headband.

Before the October 21st, 2024 Build, he had collar-length mousy brown hair with choppy bangs and brown eyes.
Personality[]
A talented painter, specializing in portraits. Loves art, but worries that he won't be able to earn a living as a painter. Dreams of being able to pursue his passions without worrying about money.
Among the Personas that are currently implemented in the game, Okimoto is a Snitch. If he sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, he will run to the landline phone in the Faculty Room and call the Police. He cannot participate in physical fights against assassins unless he witnesses Ritsuko Chikanari's murder.
Routine[]
Week 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10[]

At 7:00 AM, Okimoto enters the school grounds with the other members of the Art Club. He walks to his locker at 7:05 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, he walks to the outside of the Occult Club, on the First Floor and sketches a skull.
At 8:00 AM, he walks to Classroom 3-1 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. He leaves to eat lunch outside the Art Club at 1:00 PM.
He walks back to class at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterwards, he heads to the Art Club and paints until the end of the day. On Friday afternoons, he and the other Art Club members will gather behind the cherry tree to paint something related to it.
If the Art Club is disbanded, he will still sketch the skull.

Week 2[]
Okimoto will quickly rush to his locker and change his shoes at 7:00 AM. Afterwards, he heads outside to sit down and read by the Boy's Shower Room.
At 8:15 AM, Okimoto will run to Classroom 3-1 and sit at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. He leaves to eat his lunch on the Rooftop at 1:00 PM.
He runs back to class at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will read by the Cooking Club until the end of the day.
On Thursday, he will not participate in cleaning time and will instead read until the end of the day.
Week 3[]
Okimoto will quickly rush to his locker and change his shoes at 7:00 AM. He then heads outside to read by the girls' shower room.
At 8:15 AM, Okimoto will run to Classroom 3-1 and sit at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. He leaves to eat his lunch outside the Student Council Room at 1:00 PM.
He runs back to class at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he read outside the Counselor's Office until the end of the day.
On Thursday, he will not participate in cleaning time and will instead read until the end of the day.
On Friday, he will instead follow his normal routine.
Week 4[]
Okimoto will quickly rush to his locker and change his shoes at 7:00 AM. He then goes to read by the eastern stairs to the second floor.
At 8:15 AM, Okimoto will run to Classroom 3-1 and sit at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. He leaves to eat his lunch on the rooftop at 1:00 PM.
He runs back to class at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will read outside Classroom 1-1 until the end of the day.
On Thursday, he will not participate in cleaning time and will instead read until the end of the day.
On Friday, he will instead read outside of the Foreign Studies Room and Science Lab.
Week 5[]

During week 5, Okimoto will deviate from his regular routine to follow Ritsuko Chikanari around the school from time to time. When he is not stalking her, he will spend time in the Plaza.

Okimoto has a crush on Ritsuko and is her suitor. If he is matched with Ritsuko, the two will begin a romantic relationship with each other, which will eliminate Ritsuko. If he witnesses Ritsuko's murder, he will try to apprehend Ryoba Aishi.

- His name, Okimoto, means "open sea" (oki, 沖) and "origin, source" (moto, 本).
- His surname, Furukawa, means "old" (furu, 古) and "river" (kawa, written as 川 or 河).
- Okimoto was given Umanosuke Yoshinari's hairstyle in the 1980's Revamp update.
- If the player asked him to put his hair in a ponytail, his eyes would change into a different color.[2]
