The Newspaper Club is a former club in Akademi, which replaces the Gaming Club and Info Club in 1980s Mode.
Appearance[]
The Newspaper Club is located on the third floor in the west wing of Akademi. It has dark brown hardwood floor and green striped wallpaper.
Each member of the Newspaper Club has their own typewriter, where they write the school's newspaper, and in the middle of the clubroom, there is a printer.
The Newspaper Club is also furnished with various cabinets, corkboards with various newspaper clips attached, a couch, and a desk for the president, Shinako Bunzai.
Gameplay[]
After joining the Newspaper Club, Ryoba Aishi will be able to write three different types of news articles that will influence students at Akademi in various ways. If she decides to write an article she can choose four options:
- Improve reputation — Ryoba can write an impressive article that will earn the respect of her peers.
- Damage rival's reputation — Ryoba can write an article full of rumors about her rivals to make people think less of them.
- Improve school atmosphere — Ryoba can write an article about how safe the school is to improve the atmosphere at said school.
- Don't write anything.
Club Schedule[]
The club members gather at 7:05 AM and write articles at the typewriters, occasionally going outside to socialize with other students.
They all eat their lunch near the club room at 1:00 PM.
They continue writing articles at 4:00 PM, occasionally going outside to socialize again.

- According to their profile, Wataru Murata and Sonoko Sakanoue were formerly members of this club.
- The Newspaper Club disbanded sometime before the events of 202X Mode. This is due to the decline of actual newspapers, especially amongst the youth.[1]
- Although the fedora is an accessory for the Newspaper Club, no one in the club except for Ryoba Aishi wears it.
- Jiichiro Takahashi was the original President of the Newspaper Club before being replaced on the September 1st, 2022 Build.
