Mrs. Okada (first name unknown) is a minor character who appears if the player chooses the befriend/betrayal elimination method to eliminate Osana Najimi. She is the mother of Sutemi Okada and an unnamed younger daughter.

Appearance[]

Mrs. Okada has light golden hair that falls just above her shoulders. Her hair is parted to one side, with strands framing her face. She has light-reddish eyes and slight blush on her cheeks.

She wears a light green apron over a green short-sleeved top. The apron is tied at the back and extends to her knees. She has on blue jeans and green shoes.

Personality[]

Mrs. Okada seems like a classic kind mother. Unlike her daughter and husband, she cares about her son and feels sorry for his situation, and hopes that he will come out of his room and join them in the future. In addition, she is not happy that her husband puts all of the responsibility of taking care of their children on her, thinking that this is the job of both parents and that she cannot be the only one to do it.

Routine[]

When Ayano Aishi enters the house, Mrs. Okada can be found pacing in the kitchen musing on if she has the ingredients she needs to make a cake. If she notices Ayano, just like her husband, she will assume she is one of her daughter's friends and asks her to leave and Ayano will get the "Caught" game over.

While Ayano is leaving the house after retrieving Kika, she can be heard arguing with her husband in the kitchen.

Relationships[]

Her Husband[]

Main article: Mr. Okada

Mr. Okada is her husband, although their relationship is not fully known, they are both disappointed in their son but they both still tolerate him. According to Mrs. Okada, the reason why Sutemi is like this is because his father doesn't spend any time with his son and tries to put all the responsibility on his wife.

Her Children[]

Mrs. Okada is disappointed in Sutemi but still tolerates him, her daughter reckons this is because their parents refuse to give up on their children no matter how screwed up they become. According to his sister's conversation, Sutemi requested for his mom to just leave a tray with his meal outside his door. She really wishes he would leave his room and join the rest of the family one day.

Unlike her son, she doesn't seem to have any problems with her daughter.

Trivia[]

  • YandereDev said Mrs. Okada and her husband are equally at fault for why Sutemi behaves the way he does.[1]
  • She has a similar surname as Etsuji Odaka.

  • Despite Osana saying she would report her son to the police, she simply went to her and her husband and told them about their son's behavior. They didn't want to escalate the situation by involving the police, so they profusely apologized for their son's behavior, all while begging Osana not to call the police and reassuring her that they wouldn't let him get away with something similar again.[2]
