The Maid Cafe is an interactable part time job and is one of the ways for the protagonist to earn money in Yandere Simulator.

Gameplay[]

The part-time job can only be accessed at night by entering the Maid Café through Buraza Town. Interacting with the bedroom door and selecting the "Town" option will take the player to the town's street, where the protagonist can find the Maid Café. The player can start the game, view the controls, view the credits, or exit the menu. After starting the game, the player can choose the minigame's difficulty, Easy, Medium, or Hard.

The minigame takes the form of a maid café. The protagonist must take orders from customers, deliver them to the chef, and bring meals to customers. The difficulty level chosen at the start of the game will determine the number of customers that the protagonist has to serve.

If the protagonist makes a customer wait too long or delivers them the wrong order, they will leave. If five customers leave, the player will get a game over and they will be sent home with no money earned.

If the time runs out, the protagonist completes their shift. She will then earn money depending on the difficulty level chosen at the start and by how much she was tipped by each customer she served correctly. In Easy mode, she'll earn an average of $100 in total, while Medium mode will give $150, and Hard mode will give $200.

Arrow keys (← & →) or the XBOX cross and L key to move the protagonist.
E (or A on XBOX) to interact with the game menu, customers, chef, and the food.
Q (or B on XBOX) to back out of the options.

Trivia[]

The Maid Cafe minigame was implemented in the August 1st, 2019 Build. The building itself was implemented on October 17th, 2019 build.
Before the May 4th, 2022 build, Ryoba's sprites did not reflect her maid illustration on the official website.^[1]
