Magazines are a mechanic that allows the player to learn what traits 1980s Mode rivals find attractive.

Gameplay

In 1980s Mode, the player has the opportunity to open the rivals' bookbags. In the bookbag, you can read their magazines where they drew some hearts near certain things that the boys have. The player can then determine what's the rivals' type.

This mechanic is used for Matchmaking.

Trivia

• Before the September 15th 2024 build, the player could read Amai Odayaka's magazine, but it was identical to 1980s mode, so Yandere Dev replaced it with Social Media.
• Before the March 30th 2022 build, Magazines used to be just a blue screen with the information needed, it was later changed because It was boring.
