Luna Quotes

Luna, also known as Selene2005,[1] is the protagonist of Lunar Scythe and a character Ayano Aishi can speak to on Yancord.

Appearance[]

Luna wears distinctive makeup consisting of vivid pink or red eyeshadow, often outlined with dark eyeliner for definition. Her eyebrows are arched and emphasized, and she may also use blush and contouring to highlight her facial structure. Her lips are typically painted in bold shades such as deep red-black. Her hair is short, black, and includes pink highlights, styled in an asymmetrical cut.

Her outfit is predominantly black with red accents. She wears a cropped top with midriff exposed, along with torn, form-fitting pants. Her jacket has pointed red designs on the shoulders and sleeves. She carries a large scythe with a red and white blade. Her boots are armored and feature red spikes.

Personality[]

Luna has a strong sense of justice and a distaste for evil people and criminals who make the world worse. On the final day of the first week, she concludes that it is not criminals who create harm in the world but relatively pure evil.

From her Yancord conversations with Ayano, she seems quickly excited to have a new person on her server, immediately bombarding Ayano with many questions. This ties into her solid holding opinions. It is rather complicated for her to move on from talking about evil, such as criminals and other topics (that are pretty irrelevant for the server), if she's indulged in it. Selene is soon aware of this, promising that she will start talking about ordinary things that she doesn't discuss.

Luna loves various anime, notably Moonlight Warrior Selene and Life Note. She is a teenager,[1] considering that her mother has control over her absences.

Background[]

Luna grew up in a crime-ridden city, overshadowed by her genius younger sister, Stella, who became a world-famous prodigy before age twelve. Ignored by her parents and struggling in school, Luna developed an inferiority complex and acted out, eventually leaving home at eighteen and cutting ties with her family. What began as a rebellious goth phase became a lasting identity.

After leaving home, Luna struggled with poverty, unstable jobs, and failed relationships, sinking into depression and dying apathetic. Resurrected by an individual named "Death," she remained in financial hardship but gained nightly superpowers. Initially reluctant, Luna accepted Death’s offer to “fix” the world by punishing evil and protecting the innocent. Armed with a soul-measuring device to judge who deserves punishment, she targets only those with irredeemably evil souls.

Death warns Luna that if she doesn’t deliver enough souls by the next full moon, he will kill her and send her to the afterlife himself.[2]

Relationships[]

Trivia[]

  • Her name, Luna, is a real feminine given name of Latin origin (lūna, lūnae), meaning moon. The name Luna was also used as the divine personification of the Moon in Roman mythology.[3]
