Kenko Sukoyaka is one of the male students who currently attends Akademi.

Appearance[]

Kenko has chin-length lime green hair with long bangs that hang over his eyes. On the left side of his head, there's three braids, each of which is tied with a ribbon, the colors going from red, to blue, to yellow. On the back of his head, he has a maroon-colored rectangular barrette clipped to hold up the remainder of his hair. His eyes are light purple.

He wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player. He also wears a light orange kerchief with a dark green stripe. His apron is a lighter shade of orange, with a dark green pocket trim and a print of a radish and carrot on the bottom left corner. The right pocket has a dark green diamond pattern with holes. If the Cooking Club is disbanded, Kenko will no longer wear the apron and kerchief.

Personality[]

Committed to maintaining a healthy diet; intends to abstain from junk food for his entire life. He doesn't judge others for their dietary choices, but he evangelizes the benefits of healthy food at every opportunity.

— Description from Info-chan.
Kenko-Cute-Pose

Kenko striking a cute pose.

Among the Personas that are currently implemented in the game, Kenko is a Social Butterfly. He will give Ayano Aishi a cute pose if she aims her Phone at him. If he sees Ayano commit murder anyone, or if he discovers a corpse, he will run to a highly populated area of the school and call the Police. If Ayano approaches, he will scream for her to go away, and if Ayano commits another murder in his eyesight, he will curl into a ball. He is unable to fight back in physical fights against murderers.

Kenko worries a lot about the health of his clubmates and classmates, and constantly resists the urge to suggest better diets for them.[2]

While healthy food is his only type of food that he is interested in, he is not outright obnoxious about it when he is discussing various foods with his club-mates.[3]

Routine[]

KenkoSukoyakaPreparingFood

Kenko preparing some food in the Cooking Club.

At 7:00 AM, Kenko enters the school grounds with the other members of the Cooking Club. He walks to his locker at 7:05 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, he walks to the Cooking Club on the First Floor and will prepare some food there. He then travels around the school and gives the food to various students.

At 8:00 AM, he then walks to Classroom 3-1, sits at his desk and plays on his phone. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM, and leaves to go to the outside of the Cooking Club to eat his lunch at 1:00 PM.

He afterwards walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Lastly, he heads to the Cooking Club and stays there until the end of the day.

If the Cooking Club is disbanded, Kenko will socialize with the other former members in the Home Ec Room during periods in which he would normally attend it.

Task[]

Main article: Tasks

"Kenko Sukoyaka needs exactly 128 carrots. Find 128 carrots somewhere, bring them to school, and tell Kenko about them."

KenkosTask

Kenko's task can be easily completed by going to Ayano's yard (by going outside of the bedroom, to the backyard of the Aishi House). An option reading "Bring Carrots To School" will be made as an option. When the player clicks "E" on the option, they have the choice to take all of the carrots in her backyard to school in a duffel bag. Once the player does that, Ayano will arrive to school next to her duffel bag full of carrots. The player can then talk to Kenko and click the task option to complete his task.

Trivia[]

  • He was implemented in August 18th, 2018 Build.
  • His first name, Kenko (健康/ケンコー: Kenkō) means "healthy", and Sukoyaka (すこやか/健やか) also means "healthy".
  • As of April 7th, 2020, he will reject any junk food (such as that from the Vending Machine) offered to him.
    • While this means that the player cannot offer him a salty snack and then electrocute him at a water fountain, other methods of electrocution still exist. For instance, the player can still put emetic poison into his bento at lunchtime, create a leak at the sink, and then use a power strip to electrocute him in the bathroom that he goes to.
  • The reason why Kenko needs 128 carrots is because he had agreed to supply a farmer with food for his animals and had the carrots ready. The carrots were either destroyed or lost, and he needs to replace the 128 missing carrots, or he would lose his supply contract with the farmer, or the animals would starve.[4][5][6]
  • Kenko grows a lot of vegetables, and always has plenty to spare.[6]
  • In the September 1st, 2024 build, his hair model was updated, but his portrait wasn't until the September 3rd, 2024 build.

Quotes[]

There's no way to say this without sounding like a weirdo, but...I need 128 carrots. Please don't ask why; it would take way too long to explain. But, there's a totally valid reason for it. I swear
Now, I know what you're gonna say - "Kenko, just go grab some carrots from the Gardening Club!" No. They only have 105 carrots, I counted. I need 23 more than that. And, no, I can't afford to buy any.
I know that there's probably, like, a zero percent chance that you can help me with this, but...if you could bring 128 carrots to school, I would owe you my LIFE. Seriously, I am NOT joking around!

— Kenko's task information.

You...you know where to find 128 carrots? Seriously? You're not...you're not playing a prank on me, right? Oh, man...if you're being honest with me right now...please, bring those carrots to school!

— Accepting his task.

...yeah. I...don't know what I was thinking. Well, great. Now I'm Kenko, that weird guy who asked for 128 carrots. Not 127, not 129, but 128 exactly. Sigh...I'm never going to live this down, am I?

— Declining his task.

...126...127...aaaaand...128! This is...this is exactly what I needed! You did it! I know you're not going to believe me when I say this but...you just saved my life! Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!

— Completing Kenko's task.

You want to know more about Amai? Hmm... I think she has a public blog where she posts about all of her interests, opinions, likes and dislikes! I'll give you the URL so you can go check it out.
