Kashiko Murasaki is a female student who currently attends Akademi.
Appearance[]
Kashiko has wavy, shoulder-length dark blonde hair that fades into purple, gathered at the back of her head. She has a split fringe with a light pink streak on the right side. She has purple eyeshadow and tanned skin. Her bust size is 1.4.
She wears the default school uniform with a hairclip shaped like a piece of pinkish-purple candy on the left side of her fringe, round pink earrings, purple nail polish, scrunchies in two shades of purple and one in pink on both of her wrists, a purple book bag on her left shoulder, a light purple jacket with dark pink cuffs tied around her waist and white leg warmers unless customized by the player, but she always wears a shorter skirt. Her phone case is glittery purple with pearls and a large white heart, and a purple hard candy phone charm hangs off the bottom of it.
When sunbathing, Kashiko wears a light indigo bikini with dark carnation pink outlines and a lightened purple and white pattern of candy-shaped silhouettes on the right side of her top. Before the May 1st, 2025 build, she wore a plain purple swimsuit.
As of the June 15th, 2024 build, if a long-sleeved uniform is selected, Kashiko will not wear her scrunchies.
Like Musume Ronshaku, Kashiko is one of only two bullies who actually have naturally dark skin in the pre-bully designs, meaning that the others have fake tans. YandereDev confirmed that Kashiko is part Japanese.[2]
Prior to becoming a bully, Kashiko had black hair held in a large, braided bun and a lilac headband and purple ball earrings.[3] She did everything possible to keep her hair neat, tidy, and straight, like the other kids.
Personality[]
Kashiko Murasaki is a mischief-maker and an instigator. She enjoys spreading gossip and rumors so that she can watch the outcome from afar, silently proud of herself for successfully manipulating the actions of others. Her gossip often causes permanent damage to the relationships of other people, but she doesn't care. She rationalizes her behavior by insisting that her actions are merely harmless pranks, and that any consequences are the fault of others who are not handling her pranks well enough.
Spends most of her time texting on her phone. \ Pretends to be a sweet girl, but in private, her personality is quite nasty. \ Secretly, her favorite activity is gossiping and spreading rumors.

Among the Personas that are currently implemented in the game, Kashiko is a Phone Addict. She will happily pose for a picture if Ayano Aishi aims her phone at her. If she sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, she will take a picture with her phone and text it to the police while running out of school.
Kashiko is a member of the Bullies, meaning that she will talk behind people's backs and bully those with the lowest reputation, and write abusive words on their desks. If Ayano has a high reputation, she will smile and put away her phone when she talks to her. If Ayano has a regular or low reputation, she will give her an annoyed expression, as if she's wasting her time.
Kashiko is a mischief-maker and instigator. She enjoys watching the results of the drama she stirs up, seeing it as simply a prank. YandereDev states that she bullies because she finds it entertaining and is too simple-minded to understand the consequences of her actions.[4] In the Death Demon's Ritual, it is revealed that Kashiko does not care if her gossiping causes other people's relationships to be damaged.
Background[]
Kashiko's mother was Japanese, but her father was of another race. She is not adopted.[5] Kashiko has never met her father, and her mother doesn't have any details about her father's ancestry, so Kashiko does not know what race he is.[3] As a child, she was often the only mixed-race student in her class and was often bullied for the color of her skin. From middle school onwards, she adopted the gyaru style because it allowed her to disguise herself as a rebellious girl who tanned her skin for the sake of fashion and avoid being identified as mixed-race. She acknowledges that pretending to be a gyaru girl might work only in a school setting and definitely won't last forever. She is insecure about herself, as she wants someone who will accept her for being mixed, not for a specific trait in that person.[6]
She longs for the day she can be her true self without having to hide anything. It is uncertain whether or not Kashiko will grow as a person and leave behind her bullying ways, or remain nasty throughout her life. Out of all of the bullies, however, she is the one who is most likely to wind up with Gema Taku if the two of them are able to develop into better people.

At 7:10 AM, Kashiko enters the school grounds with the other Bullies and walks to the Locker Room to change from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. Before class, she patrols the First Floor. If a student is being bullied, she will first go to that student's desk and write distasteful messages on it. Afterwards, she will continue with her morning routine.
At 8:00 AM, Kashiko walks into Classroom 3-1, sits at her desk, and plays on her phone. She starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM and heads to the Swimming Pool to sunbathe at 1:00 PM. If the pool is closed, she and the other bullies will eat lunch instead. If a student is being bullied, Kashiko will first go to that student's classroom to laugh at them while Musume Ronshaku claps blackboard dusters on their head. She walks back to class at 1:30 PM.
During cleaning time, being between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM, Kashiko gossips with the other bullies in the northeast Third Floor girl's bathroom. Afterwards, she patrols the first floor until the end of the day.
If Gema Taku's task is completed, Kashiko and the rest of the bullies will gaze at him from outside the Gaming Club during lunchtime instead of sunbathing.
If Kashiko had never met Musume or formed a group with her, she would be clubless and would spend her time playing pranks on others.[7]

- Junk Food: Her favorite type of candies is hard candies. "The type of candy that you keep in your mouth for a long time while it slowly dissolves, or bite really hard to crack it open," according to YandereDev.[8] According to YandereDev, in the future, when the Bullies disband or drift apart, Kashiko would learn how to make candy and open a candy shop.[9]

- Kashiko's design seems to be heavily inspired by Ganguro Girls, a subculture in Japan that was popular during the 90s.
- Her name means "purple candy" in Japanese. Kashi (菓) means candy, and -ko is a common suffix for female names, which means "child". Her last name, Murasaki (紫), is the traditional word for the color purple.
- Her surname shares the naming logic with Murasaki Nobumoto's first name.
- In previous builds, comments from Toga Tabara, Tokuko Kitagawa, Midori Gurin and Kuu Dere could be seen on Kashiko's phone.
- Kashiko was one of eleven students who had a bounty, with the others being Ryuto Ippongo, Otohiko Meichi, Fureddo Jonzu, Umeji Kizuguchi, Horuda Puresu, Kyuji Konagawa, Hazu Kashibuchi, Toga Tabara, Uekiya Engeika, and Horo Guramu.

- When Kashiko eventually parts ways with Musume Ronshaku, she will never return to "hiding" who she really is, and will fully embrace her poofy, fluffy hair. When it comes time for her to "shed" her gyaru "disguise," she would not want to spend any time in a transitory state between gyaru and "mixed-race girl not hiding her identity." She would dye her hair back to black right away.[3]
