Hozumi Takeda is one of the male students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.
Appearance[]
Current[]
Hozumi has messy collar-length dirty blonde hair. He has a braid on the left side of his head that's held by a beige braid holder. His bangs are swept to the left and curl inwards towards his right eye, completely covering his left eyebrow and partially cover his left eye. He has olive green eyes.
If the player tells him Sonoko Sakanoue's preferred hairstyle in order to matchmake him with her, he will tie some of his hair into a small braid on the back of his head or undo his braid and slick back all of his front hair.
He wears the default 1980s uniform with three blades of grass tucked behind his left ear. During Week 2, 4, and 6, he carries a yellow watering can.
Previous[]
Before the October 21st, 2024 Build, he had slicked back blonde hair and cyan eyes.
Personality[]
Was traumatized after witnessing a horrific crime. Joined the Gardening Club to relax as he recovers from the experience. Harbors a strong contempt for criminals, and considers a career in law enforcement.
Known to spend much of his time studying in the school library, which has earned him the nickname "Study-Kun A".
Among the Personas that are currently implemented in the game, Hozumi is a Snitch. If he sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, he will run to the landline phone in the Faculty Room and call the police. He cannot participate in physical fights against assassins unless he witnesses Sonoko Sakanoue's murder.

Week 1 and 7[]
At 7:00 AM, Hozumi enters the school grounds. He walks to his locker at 7:05 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes into his indoor shoes at the lockers. At 7:15 AM, he analyzes the flowers on the first floor, next to the stairs.
At 8:00 AM, he then walks to Classroom 3-1 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM and leaves to go to the Gardening Club to eat his lunch at 1:00 PM.
He lastly walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterward, he heads to the Gardening Club and stays there until the end of the day.
If the Gardening Club disbands, he will still continue analyzing the flowers on the first floor.

Week 2[]
At 7:00 AM, Hozumi enters the school grounds with the other members of the Gardening Club. He walks to the Locker Room at 7:05 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. After doing so, he will head over to the back of the school to water plants along with the other Gardening Club members.
At 8:00 AM, he walks to Classroom 3-1 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM and leaves to go to the Gardening Club to eat his lunch at 1:00 PM.
Afterwards, he runs back to class again at 1:23 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will continue watering the plants behind the school with the other Gardening Club members.

Week 3[]
At 7:00 AM, Hozumi enters the school grounds with the other members of the Gardening Club. He walks to the locker room at 7:05 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. After doing so, he will sit and read near the stairs leading up to the second floor.
At 8:15 AM, Hozumi will run to Classroom 3-1 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, he starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM and leaves to go to the Gardening Club to eat his lunch at 1:00 PM.
Afterwards, he runs back to class again at 1:23 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he analyzes the flowers on the first floor, for the rest of the day.
On Thursday, he will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read until the end of the day.
On Friday, he will instead read outside of the Classroom 3-1.
Week 4 and 6[]
At 7:00 AM, Hozumi enters the school grounds with the other members of the Gardening Club. He walks to the locker room at 7:05 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. After doing so, he will head over to the back of the school to water plants along with Iwao Satoh.
At 8:00 AM, he then walks to his Classroom 3-1 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM and leaves to go to the Gardening Club to eat his lunch at 1:00 PM.

Hozumi has a crush on Sonoko and is her suitor. If he is matchmade with Sonoko, the two will begin a romantic relationship with each other, which will eliminate Sonoko.
Family[]
Hozumi does not like his family because they do not support his love for gardening.[2]
Trivia[]
- His name, Hozumi, means "ear (of plant), head (of plant)" (ho, 穗), and "volume, contents, pile up" (zumi, 積).
- His surname, Takeda, is a common Japanese surname which means "bamboo" (take, 武), and "rice paddy" (ta/da, 田).
- Before the January 5th, 2024 Build, he is seen admiring Chigusa during her introduction. But he doesn't follow her around the school.
- Hozumi eventually became a police officer. More specifically a detective.[2]
