Honoka Kiyokawa is one of the female students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.
Appearance[]
Current[]
Honoka has waist-length dark brown hair tied into large, messy twin braids that rest on her chest tied with light orange braid holders. She has curtain bangs that cover her eyebrows, and her right bangs cover her eye. She also has side hair that reaches till above her chest with the tips slightly inward, along with two extra strands on either side that curl upwards under her chin. On her top left side of her bangs, a strand curls up and below it, another strand curls downward. On either side of her braids, a strand curls upwards. She has downturned honey brown eyes fade to a honey gold hue at the bottom.
She wears the default 1980s uniform with a large white bow decorated with a large light-to-dark gradient petalled lotus flower in the center on the back of her head. During Week 2, she carries a pink watering can.
Previous[]
Before the March 30th, 2022 Build, she had chin-length brown hair with short strands on either side of her face, as well as two space buns behind her head. She had scarlet eyes.
Before the October 21st, 2024 Build, her hair was light red, and her buns were larger.
Personality[]

A farm girl whose parents spent their life savings to get her into Akademi. Still adapting to her new surroundings, and isn't comfortable unless she's planting crops or flowers.
Among the personas that are currently implemented in the game, Honoka is a Snitch. If she sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, she will run to the landline phone in the Faculty Room and call the police. She cannot participate in physical fights against murderers.

Week 1 and 7[]
At 7:00 AM, Honoka enters the school grounds with the rest of the Gardening Club. She walks to her locker at 7:05 AM and changes from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, she walks to the third floor and arranges the plants by the stairs.
At 8:00 AM, she then walks to Classroom 1-2 and sits at her desk. She starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM, and leaves to go to the outside of the Gardening Club to eat her lunch at 1:00 PM.
She lastly walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterwards, she heads to the Gardening Club and stays there until the end of the day.
If the Gardening Club disbands, she will continue to arrange the flowers on the third floor.

Week 2[]
At 7:00 AM, Honoka enters the school grounds with the other members of the Gardening Club. She walks to the locker room at 7:05 AM and changes from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. After doing so, she will head over to the back of the school to water plants along with the other Gardening Club members.
At 8:00 AM, she then walks to Classroom 1-2 and sits at her desk. She starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM and leaves to go to the Gardening Club to eat her lunch.
Afterwards, she runs back to class again at 1:23 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, she will continue watering the plants behind the school with the other Gardening Club members.

Week 3[]
At 7:00 AM, Honoka enters the school grounds with the other members of the Gardening Club. She walks to the locker room at 7:05 AM and changes from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. After doing so, she will sit down and read by the Cooking Club.
At 8:15 AM, Honoka will run to Classroom 1-2 and sit at her desk and start her morning classes at 8:30 AM. Then, she leaves to go to the Gardening Club to eat her lunch.
Afterwards, she runs back to class again at 1:23 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, she analyzes the flowers on the third floor for the rest of the day.
On Thursday, she will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read until the end of the day.
On Friday, she will instead head outside to read by the Swimming Pool.
Week 4[]
At 7:00 AM, Honoka enters the school grounds with the other members of the Gardening Club. She walks to the locker room at 7:05 AM and changes from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. After doing so, she will head up the stairs on the eastern side leading up to the third floor to sit down and read.
At 8:15 AM, Honoka will run to Classroom 1-2 and sit at her desk and start her morning classes at 8:30 AM. Then, she leaves to go to the Martial Arts Club to eat her lunch.
Afterwards, she runs back to class again at 1:23 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, she heads upstairs to sit down and read by the Workshop, and stays there for the rest of the day.
On Thursday, she will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read until the end of the day.
On Friday, she will instead head outside to read by the pool.
Week 5[]

Honoka will quickly rush to her locker and change into her shoes at 7:00 AM. After doing so, she will quickly head upstairs and read by the Science Club.
At 8:15 AM, Honoka will run to Classroom 1-2 and sit at her desk and start her morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, she leaves to eat her lunch outside of the Science Lab.
Afterwards, she runs back to class again at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, she will sit down and read outside of the Calligraphy Room and stay there until the end of the day.
On Thursday, she will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read until the end of the day.

Trivia[]
- Her name, Honoka, has several possible writings, such as "flower of ear (of grain)" (穂花), "incense of ear (of grain)" (穂香 or 穂之香), or "incense of the sail" (帆乃香).
- Her surname, Kiyokawa, means "pure, cleanse" (kiyo, 清) and "river" (kawa, 川).
- Honoka's second hairstyle and eyes were given to Kaho Miki in the 1980s Revamp update.
- Honoka has an unused hair texture for her second hairstyle that can be found in the game files.[2]
