Hana Daidaiyama is one of the female students who currently attends Akademi.
Appearance[]
Hana has golden blonde hair gathered around the back of her head messily, along with chest-length pieces of bright pink and yellow fringe on both sides of her forehead, with a side-swept piece in the middle. She has dark cerulean blue eyes with clear contacts over them, and she wears pink eyeshadow along with pink blush. She has tanned skin and a bust size of 1.3.
If she were to leave the bully group, she would either keep the fluffy ponytail and cut the long sides, or simply wear a ponytail without teasing it. She would let her hair slowly return to its original color, but would continue to add streaks. Although she naturally has blue eyes, she wears contacts to make her eyes deeper and even more vibrant.[2]
School[]
She wears the default school uniform with a pearl hairband with a pink and yellow flower on top of her head, golden hoop earrings, dark maroon acrylic nails, three pink and yellow scrunchies on both wrists, an orange bookbag on her left shoulder, a yellow jacket tied around her waist and white leg warmers unless customized by the player, although she wears a shorter skirt. Her phone case is glittery yellow with pearls and three pink flowers on it, and a yellow flower phone charm hangs off the bottom of it.
Sunbathing[]
When sunbathing, Hana wears a pale orange bikini with bright pink outlines and a lightened orange and white pattern of flower-shaped silhouettes on the right side of her top. Before the May 1st, 2025 build, she wore a plain bright pink swimsuit.
Before Bully[]
Prior to becoming a bully, Hana had straight, muted red hair, wore large glasses, and had a small flower pin on the back of her head.[3] Because of how straight her hair was, she had to tease it a lot in order to achieve a more fluffy and voluminous ponytail.
Personality[]
Hana Daidaiyama suffers from a severe inferiority complex that stems from several incidents in her past. She is deeply insecure about herself - everything from her appearance to her intelligence - and she feels a powerful, irresistible urge to find reasons to look down on others, so that she can feel better about herself by comparison. For this reason, she is obsessed with finding skeletons in other peoples' closets, and dragging out those skeletons for the world to see. She doesn't care what consequences her actions have in the lives of others, as long as she can feel superior to them.
Spends most of her time playing games on her phone.
She pretends to be pure and innocent, but in private, she favors vulgar language and dirty jokes.
Her favorite activity is looking for dirt in peoples' pasts.

Among the personas that are currently implemented in the game, Hana is a Phone Addict. She will happily pose for a picture if Ayano Aishi aims her phone at her. If she sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, she will take a picture with her Phone and text it to the Police. While she is doing this, she will run out of the school.
She is a member of The Bullies, meaning that she will talk behind people's backs and bully those with the lowest Reputation and write cruel messages on their desks. If Ayano has a high reputation, she will smile when talked to. However, if Ayano has a regular or low reputation, she will frown.
In the Death Demon's ritual, it's revealed that Hana is obsessed with exposing other people's secrets. She also enjoys watching people be shamed and ridiculed.
According to Mulberry's post about her original appearance, Hana was an introvert, and although she didn't actually have any "nerdy" interests, her glasses and shy personality gave her classmates the impression that she was a geeky bookworm. She let some of her hair fall over her face as a subtle way of "hiding" from the world, but when she joined Musume's crew, she knew that she would need to demonstrate a more extroverted personality, so she cut the hair that fell over her face as part of the process of abandoning her "shy girl" persona. For her, the process of becoming a bully was tied to her personal journey to learn how to open up and be more free-spirited. She didn't completely transform into a total party girl, but she's definitely pursuing her mental image of the type of person she wishes she could be. If she had found a better crowd to fall in with, then she probably would have learned how to grow as a person without being destructive towards others.
Her insecurity complex began when she saw other people being happy while she was unhappy herself.[4]
Routine[]

At 7:10 AM, Hana enters the school grounds with the other bullies. She walks to her locker and changes her shoes at 7:15 AM. She patrols the Second Floor. If a student is being bullied, she will first go to that student's desk and write hateful messages on it. Afterwards, she will continue with her morning routine.
At 8:00 AM, Hana walks into Classroom 2-1, sits at her desk, and plays on her phone. She starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM and leaves to go to the Swimming Pool to sunbathe at 1:00 PM. If the pool is closed, she and the other bullies will go and eat lunch instead. If a student is being bullied, Hana will first go to that student's class to laugh at them after Musume Ronshaku claps blackboard dusters on their head.
Hana goes to her classroom and attends her afternoon classes at 1:30 PM. Between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM, she will gossip in the girl's bathrooms with Kokoro Momoiro, Hoshiko Mizudori, Kashiko Murasaki, and Musume instead of participating in Cleaning Time. Once Cleaning Time is over, Hana will patrol the second floor until the end of the day.
If Gema Taku's task is completed, Hana and the rest of the bullies will gaze at him from the outside of the Gaming Club during lunchtime instead of sunbathing at the pool.
If Hana had never met Musume or formed a group with her, she would be clubless, be a Loner, and stay away from others, spending a lot of time on her phone.[5]

Relationships[]
- Family: Her family is one of the main reasons as to why Hana is insecure about herself. Hana's parents seemed to love her big sister more than her, which led to Hana growing up resentful towards her sister and towards anyone who made her feel "lesser" or "not enough".[6] Hana also dislikes her family because they disapprove of her fashion sense.[7]

- Her design seems to be heavily inspired by Ganguro Girls, a subculture in Japan that was popular during the 90s.
- Her name means "orange flower" in Japanese, Hana (花) meaning "flower", Daidai (橙), which comes from "daidaiiro" meaning a bitter or citrus orange color, and -Yama (山) being a common surname suffix meaning "mountain". Her last name could also mean the first mountain (daidaiyama 第第山).
- Her first name shares the naming logic with Karin Hanabusa's old surname.
- Her pose in her portrait was changed in the February 5th, 2018 Build, as the pose may confuse or offend international fans.[8]
- On her phone, it says that she updated her profile picture. This is probably a reference to her having her portrait picture changed.
- She was in Class 2-2 until the January 24th, 2019 Build, when she was moved to Class 2-1.
