Hachiro Iso is one of the male students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.

Current[]
Hachiro has short, messy bluish-black hair. He has dark turquoise eyes and the top half of his face is shadowed.
If the player tells him Honami Hodoshima's hairstyle preference in order to matchmake him with her, he will tie a small tuft of hair into a small ponytail on the back of his head or slick back his bangs, leaving three strands to fall on his left.
He wears the default 1980s uniform with a black omamori with the kanji ‘守り’ printed on it which reads “Defense” clipped to his left pocket.

Before the October 21st, 2024 Build, he had short, slicked back brown hair with strands sticking out and falling over his forehead and green eyes.
Personality[]
An avid reader whose favorite genre is horror. Joined the Occult Club due to his love of horror novels, and does not actually wish to summon or worship demons.
Among the personas currently implemented in the game, Hachiro is a Coward. If he sees a corpse, he will run away from school and call the police. If he witnesses Ryoba Aishi commit murder, he will start begging for her to spare his life in exchange for his silence, he will then run away from the school, but won't call the police. He cannot participate in physical fights unless Honami Hodoshima is killed in front of him.
Routine[]
Week 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10[]

At 7:05 AM, Hachiro enters the school grounds with the other Occult Club members. He walks to his locker at 7:10 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, he walks to the Occult Club on the first floor to chat with other club members, then they will go to research the seven mysteries of the school.
At 8:00 AM, Hachiro walks into Classroom 3-1 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM, and leaves to go to the outside of the Occult Club to eat his lunch at 1:00 PM.
He walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterwards, he heads to the Occult Club and stays there until the end of the day. If Ryoba joins in club activities, he will unsuccessfully attempt to summon a demon with the other members from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
If the Occult Club is inactive, he will still continue to research the seven mysteries of the school along with the other former members.

Week 2[]
Hachiro will quickly rush to his locker and change into his shoes at 7:00 AM. Afterwards, he then heads upstairs to the second floor to sit down and read outside of Classroom 2-2.
At 8:15 AM, Hachiro will run to Classroom 3-1 and sits at his desk and starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM. Afterwards, he leaves to eat his lunch on the school rooftop at 1:00 PM.
Then, he runs back to class again at 1:28 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, he will go and read by Classroom 1-1, and stays there for the rest of the day.
On Thursday, he will not participate during cleaning time and will instead sit down and read till the end of the day.

Week 3[]
During Week 3, Hachiro will deviate from his regular routine to follow Honami Hodoshima around the school from time to time. When he is not stalking her, he will spend time in the Plaza.

Hachiro has a crush on Honami and is her suitor. If he is matched with Honami, the two will begin a romantic relationship with each other, which will eliminate Honami. If he witnesses Ryoba Aishi murder her, he will run straight up to her in an attempt to apprehend her.

- "Iso" is written as 礒, meaning rock, beach, and shore.
- Hachiro was given Fuyukichi Kato's hairstyle in the 1980's Revamp update.
