Ryoba's rival for the fourth week in 1980s Mode is Sumiko Tachibana. The students will also read books throughout the academy, just like in the second week. In addition, Sumiko leads a healthy lifestyle and prepares her bento not at home, but in the home economics room, which complicates her poisoning, which is also her canonical elimination.

At 7:00 AM, Sumiko has a conversation with Senpai at the school entrance. She tells him that she prepared a healthy lunch, especially for Senpai, and then she gives it to him.
At 7:10 AM, Senpai enters classroom 3-2 and leaves the bento on his desk.
From 7:25 AM to 8:00 AM, Sumiko runs on the treadmill in front of the cherry tree with the members of the sports club.
- Ryoba can distract Sumiko from her bento and then poison it with a deadly poison, thus eliminating with her canonical elimination.
From 4:08 PM to 5:05 PM Sumiko runs on the treadmill again.
At 5:15 PM, Sumiko meets Senpai at the school entrance and asks him if he liked the bento. If Ryoba did not interfere and didn't do anything with the bento, Jokichi will say that he liked it, then he and Sumiko will go home together.

From 1:00 PM to 1:10 PM, Sumiko prepares her bento in the home economics room.
From 4:08 PM to 5:05 PM Sumiko runs on the treadmill again.
At 5:15 PM, Sumiko meets Senpai at the school entrance. If Ryoba didn't interfere in any way and didn't steal the book, Sumiko will return the book to Jokichi and they will go home together.

At 7:00 AM, Sumiko talks to Senpai at the entrance of the school. She tells him that she has something for him and asks if he is free during lunch, then makes an appointment to meet him on the rooftop during lunch, promising to show him something.
At 7:10 AM, Sumiko arrives at class 2-2 and leaves her bag and gift box on her desk.
- Ryoba can put something obscene in the box (cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, or condoms) as a part of the rejection method.
From 7:25 AM to 8:00 AM, Sumiko runs on the treadmill.
At 1:00 PM, Sumiko meets Senpai on the roof and gives him her gift. If Ryoba did not interfere or do anything with the gift, Jokichi will accept the gift and say that he really liked it, after which Sumiko leaves to make her bento.
From 4:08 PM to 5:05 PM Sumiko runs on the treadmill again.
At 5:15 PM Sumiko leaves for home alone.

At 7:00 AM, Sumiko talks to Senpai at the entrance of the school. She invites him to go to the cinema with her, to which he agrees. Seeing that Sumiko is extremely sleepy, Jokichi suggests that she take a nap after cleaning, and she takes note of his idea.
At 7:10 AM, Sumiko comes to class 2-2 and leaves her bag there.
From 7:25 AM to 8:00 AM, Sumiko runs on the treadmill.
From 1:00 PM to 1:10 PM, Sumiko prepares her bento in the home economics room.
- Ryoba can put sedative in Sumiko's bento to make her oversleep the meeting as a part of the rejection method.
From 3:33 PM to 4:00 PM, Sumiko sleeps on a cot in the infirmary. If Ryoba added a sedative to her bento, Sumiko will sleep for the rest of the day.
From 4:08 PM to 5:05 PM Sumiko runs on the treadmill again.
At 5:15 PM, Sumiko meets Senpai at the school entrance. If Ryoba didn't interfere or do anything to Sumiko's bento, they'll go to the movies together.

At 7:00 AM, Sumiko talks to Senpai at the entrance to the school. She notices that there's something wrong she asks him what happened. Jokichi tells her that he has a test today, but does not have time to study for it. Sumiko offers to share her notes with him, to which he agrees.
At 7:15 AM, Sumiko arrives at class 3-2 and leaves notes on Senpai's desk.
- Ryoba can mess up the notes as a part of the rejection method.
From 7:25 AM to 8:00 AM, Sumiko runs on the treadmill.
At 1:00 PM, Sumiko meets Senpai on the roof. She asks him if the notes helped him or not. While Ryoba didn't interfere or do anything with the notes, Jokichi says that they helped him a lot, and Sumiko then leaves to make her bento.
From 4:08 PM to 5:05 PM Sumiko runs on the treadmill again.
At 6:00 PM, Sumiko confesses her love to Senpai. If Ryoba doesn't sabotage the events or fails to eliminate her before 6:00PM, Senpai will happily accept her confession. But if they successfully eliminate her or sabotage all the events before the deadline, Senpai will reject her confession. If Ryoba successfully matchmade Sumiko and her suitor, after some hesitation, Sumiko will decide to confess to Kagemori Takagi.

On Saturday, Ryoba begins her monologue, saying that she learned that a new girl, Ritsuko Chikanari began to show signs of attention to Senpai. She talks a little about her and her character and also hints at canonic Ritsuko elimination, then the monologue ends.
