Shima Shiya

Shima Shiya, (real name: Shima Shibahara), is a female student who currently attends Akademi.

Appearance[]

Shima wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player. She has fair skin, and her bust size is 1.

Shima has short, tan hair with an ahoge sticking out of the top. Her bangs are short and cover her forehead. She has light burgundy eyes.

When in the Martial Arts Club, Shima dons a traditional karate gi. She also wears a white headband with the kanji "必" and "勝", which combined means "victory". If the club disbands, she will not wear the headband anymore.

Before the February 15th, 2016 Build, she had poofy yellow-orange hair. Her eyes were the same color before the February 8th, 2016 Build.

Among the personas that are currently in the game, she is Heroic. If she sees Ayano Aishi commit murder on anyone, she will run to fight her. She can fight against murderers, but has weak self-defense. She will give Ayano a suspicious look if she aims her phone at her.

Routine[]

At 7:09 AM, Shima enters the school grounds with the other Martial Arts Club members. She walks to the locker room at 7:10 AM and changes from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, she walks to the Martial Arts Club on the second floor, where she changes into her gi and proceeds to watch Mina and Sho practicing their martial arts. She also goes to the Japanese Gardens with the rest of the Martial Arts Club members and observes Sho and Mina there as well.

At 8:00 AM, Shima walks into Classroom 1-1 and sits at her desk. She starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM, and leaves to go to the outside of the Martial Arts Club to eat her lunch at 1:00 PM.

Shima walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterwards, she heads to the Martial Arts Club and stays with the club until the end of the day, following them to the Japanese Gardens about halfway through. If Ayano joins in club activities, she practices kicking with other members from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

If the Martial Arts Club is disbanded, she will still go to the Japanese Gardens with the rest of the former members and watch them spar.

Shima Shiya loosened the joints of the wooden training dummy inside the Martial Arts Club. Obtain a wrench from the pump room underneath the school swimming pool and use the wrench to fix the dummy's broken limbs.

Trivia[]

Shima was implemented in the November 15th, 2015 build.
Her name was originally Shi Ta before the February 15th, 2016 Build. YandereDev changed it due to him disliking the original name.^[2]
- Shi Ta (した) originated from jukuren shita shokunin (熟練した職人), meaning "journeyman", which is a reference to someone who is learning something.^[3]
After being finally called Shima Shiya, her name was Shima Shita, in reference to her first name.
Her real name is Shima Shibahara as of the July 1st, 2020 build.
She is currently the only student outside of the "Rainbow Six" girls whose name has changed.
Before the February 15th, 2016 Build, the data in the game calls her hair name "Cirno", the hair of one of the Easter Eggs named "Cirno Mode". Her hair was also a recolor of the mode as well.
She is the only student who still attends class in Classroom 1-1.
She won't react negatively when she spotted Ayano holding a pipe wrench during her task.
She and Budo are currently the only Martial Arts Club members to have voiced tasks.
According to Yandere Dev, Shima is outgoing, friendly and energetic. She's also a tomboy.^[4]
She has a few close friends. She doesn't need a million friends, just a few good ones.^[4]
She practices sports and watches wrestling matches in her spare time.^[4]
