Meka Nikaru

Meka Nikaru is one of the female students who currently attends Akademi.

Appearance[]

Meka wears the default school uniform, unless customized by the player.

She has long, gray hair with two strands coming down both sides, with purple streaks in it, and purple, circular, eyes.

When in the Science Club, she will wear a white lab coat and a scientific visor.

She has a slight ponytail in the back of her hair.

Personality[]

This dream was inspired by the giant robots present in Japanese animation. She is known to exhibit an overbearing enthusiasm for mecha anime. She has already built several bipedal robots, most of them quite small in size - but each one she builds is always larger and more impressive than the previous one, as she slowly works towards her goal of building a robot as tall as the school building.	”

Among the personas that are currently implemented in the game, she is a Teacher's Pet. She will give Ayano a suspicious look if she aims her phone at her. If she sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, she will report to her teacher, unless another Teacher's Pet already has. She cannot participate in physical fights against murderers.

At 7:00 AM, Meka enters the school grounds with the other members of the Science Club. She walks to her locker at 7:05 AM and changes from her outdoor shoes to her indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, she walks to the Science Club on the third floor, and works on a circuit board.

At 8:09 AM, she walks to Classroom 1-2 and sits at her desk. She starts her morning classes at 8:30 AM, and leaves to go to the outside of the Science Club to eat her lunch at 1:00 PM.

She walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterwards, she heads to the Science Club and stays there until the end of the day.

If the Science Club is disbanded, Meka will socialize with the other former members in the Science Lab during periods in which she would normally attend it.

Week 1[]

As of the March 22nd, 2021 Build, Meka spends her time conversing with Homu Kurusu during the first week of the Story Mode. She converses with Homu near Classroom 2-1 before 8:00 AM and after 3:30 PM. She no longer participates in cleaning time as she uses this time for her conversation.

If Osana stops attending Akademi before the end of the week, Meka will return to her default routine.

Trivia[]

She was implemented as a silhouette in the May 10th, 2018 Build.
- She was fully implemented in the July 1st, 2018 Build.
Her name is a play on the word 'mechanical' when transcribed into katakana: mekanikaru (メカニカル).
Meka has created many small robots, with most not going above waist-height.^[2]^[3]
