The icon for tasks.
Tasks are a type of interaction with students that can be used to befriend said students. Eventually, every NPC will have at least one unique task.[1] Some will not be as easy.[2]
Gameplay[]
When Ayano Aishi/Ryoba Aishi walks up to a student and prompts the interaction wheel, the player must choose the sprite art of the two people holding hands. When chosen, the student will proceed to tell the player what their task is.
As of the October 11th, 2015 Build, Ayano can accept or deny the task. Press E to accept the task and Q to refuse.
After completing the task, Ayano must walk up to the student and select the task function again. The student will thank her and a big pink "TASK COMPLETE!" sign will appear on the screen for several seconds. The player's reputation will increase by 1, and the student will become her friend and will be willing to do favors for her. There are also other benefits that have not been released yet.[3] The same task cannot be completed again unless the game is reset. Tasks cannot be given to Ayano in the morning until after the student has put on their indoor shoes or if their task that involves specific character are absent in school.
Ayano is able to check her phone to view all the tasks available. When a task is completed, a check mark will appear next to the mission.
Rivals tasks[]
Completing rival's task is a necessary step when befriending her. However, with most of the rivals, the player has to meet certain criteria before being able to take the task.
The exact criteria that have to be met to access certain rival's tasks in 1980s mode may be changed in the future based on the players' feedback.[4]
Osana Najimi[]
Osana Najimi lost her cat-shaped phone charm in the hedge maze. Find it and return it to her.
The charm can be found in the middle of the hedge maze. It will not spawn unless the player has accepted the task.
Amai Odayaka[]
Amai Odayaka want nine people to taste-test her latest culinary creation. Grab her dish from the Home Ec fridge, hand out samples to nine people, and report back to her.
Ayano can complete this by grabbing Amai's dish from the Home Ec fridge in the Home Ec Room and hand out samples to nine students.
Kizana Sunobu[]
Kizana Sunobu wants to be the only girl in school with purple drill hair. Convince Kokona to change her hairstyle.
The task was either broken or not fully added and accepting/denying it will softlock the game.
Kaguya Wakaizumi (1980s)[]
Kaguya Wakaizumi wants a pair of pink socks so she can fit in with the girls that she wants to be friends with. Go to the Sewing Room, grab some cloth, and use a sewing machine to make a pair of pink socks for her.
Ryoba can complete this by heading to the sewing room, grab a pink cloth on the foley clothes shelves, and sew it to make pink socks.
After completing the task, Kaguya's socks will change to the socks that the player made for her.
Moeko Rakuyona (1980s)[]
Moeko Rakuyona wants to know more about any one of the "Rainbow Boys" so that she can make friends with them. Ask one of them to follow you, and then lead him into various clubrooms around school to learn his likes and dislikes.
Ryoba can complete this by asking one of the Rainbow Boys (Haruto Yuto, Sota Yuki, Hayato Haruki, Ryusei Koki, or Sora Sosuke), and follow them into various clubs to express their opinions about the club.
Ryoba needs to befriend one of the Rainbow Boys in order to access this task. This task will be unavailable if all of the Rainbow Boys are absent in school.
Honami Hodoshima (1980s)[]
Honami Hodoshima wants to spread flyers around school that advertise the library so that she will get more visitors. Go to the Computer Lab, make copies of her flyer, and pin the flyers to the columns located nearby all of the school's staircases.
Ryoba can complete this by going to the computer lab, and use the printer machine to print out the copying flyer, and pin it on the columns nearby all of the school's staircases.
Ryoba must raise language stat to at least level 1 in order to access Honami's task.
Sumiko Tachibana (1980s)[]
Sumiko Tachibana wants to pet a certain cat so that she can feel better about not being fast enough to catch it. Find the cat behind the statue of the headmaster, chase it down, grab it, and bring it back to her.
Ryoba can complete this by catching a cat that can be found behind the headmaster's statue, and the cat will run away from Ryoba if she nears it.
Ryoba must raise physical stat to at least level 1 in order to access Sumiko's task.
Ritsuko Chikanari (1980s)[]
Ritsuko Chikanari is incapable of respecting anyone who lacks an abundance of wealth. In order to earn her respect, you must project the appearance of an extremely wealthy young woman by giving her $1,000.
Ryoba can complete this by earing money to at least $ 1,000 and give it to her. She can earn money by doing part time jobs at night or during weekend, or selling rich students to the Yakuza.
Ryoba needs to earn at least $500 in order to access Ritsuko's task.
Ai Doruyashi (1980s)[]
Ai Doruyashi wants someone to compose a melody for her so that she can get started producing her next song. Go to the Computer Lab, grab the tape recorder, bring it to the piano located in one of the school's storage rooms, play a melody on the piano, then bring the tape recorder back to her.
Ryoba can complete this by take a grab recorder at the Computer Lab, then heading the storage Northwest Storage room, and plays the piano (Which is resembles as the theme of Schoolday #1)
Ryoba must be a member of the Light Music Club in order to access Ai's task. This task will be unavailable if the Light Music Club is disbanded.
Teiko Nabatasai (1980s)[]
Teiko Nabatasai wants six books from the school library to be delivered to various podiums throughout school. Go to the library, grab some books from a bookshelf, and place one book on each of the podiums of the school's six classrooms.
Ryoba must put all of the books in every classrooms' teacher's podium table that Teiko given to her to complete this task.
Ryoba must max out at least one school subject in order to access Teiko's task.
Komako Funakoshi (1980s)[]
Komako Funakoshi desires nothing except the happiness of others. In order to gain her respect, you must travel around school and perform favors and tasks for other students until you have befriended 20 students in total.
Ryoba can complete this by having at least 20 friends in school. Ryoba can make friends by completing every students' task in school.
Ryoba must have at least 10 friends at school in order to access Komako's task.
Chigusa Busujima (1980s)[]
Chigusa Busujima wants to perform a "duo" gravure photo shoot to advance her career faster. Whenever Chigusa is at the school pool being photographed by other students, go to the locker room, change into a swimsuit, join her at the pool, and participate in a gravure photo shoot with her.
Ryoba must performing act a "duo" gravure photo to complete this task. When performing a gravure photo shoot for Chigusa, a minigame will begin and the player needs to press a key/button 10 times in a row.
Ryoba must sew a bikini in the Sewing Room, and change into it, to access Chigusa's task. Her task will be unavailable on Week 10 or when the atmosphere is low during Week 9.
Sonoko Sakanoue (1980s)[]
Sonoko Sakanoue has a challenge for you. She wants you to bring her a katana from the Headmaster's office before 8:00 AM. Make the Headmaster leave his office, grab the key to the katana case, open the case, grab the katana, and bring it to Sonoko (with the katana inside a container, of course).
This task is possibly the hardest task since Ryoba couldn't get the katana easily as she'll be tased if she takes a katana while Kocho Shuyona is present. To make Kocho Shuyona leave his office, the player needs to craft stink bombs and use the ventilation system on the rooftop, or wait it until lunchtime, where Kocho Shuyona left the office and gives opportunity for Ryoba to complete this task.
Ryoba must bring her a faculty ID card first in order to access Sonoko's task.
This task can only be completed before 8 AM, and this task will be unavailable after class time (8AM) or if the katana is disposed.
Others/Clubless[]
Kuu Dere[]
Kuu Dere is searching for a missing book. It has a solid black cover and was last seen in one of the school's Zen gardens.
Ayano can complete this task by heading to the Zen Garden on the east side of the school near the outdoor cafeteria. The book is located inside the tea house. The book will not spawn unless Player accepted the task.
Kyuji Konagawa[]
Kyuji Konagawa has a crush on Osana but doesn't know how to talk to her. Use the drops menu to purchase an item that can help him.
Ayano can complete this task by purchasing a headset from the drop menu or from the electronic store in Buraza Town before handing it to him. Kyuji is the suitor and has a crush on Osana, the player can matchmake Osana so that Osana will love Kyuji instead of Senpai.
This task will be unavailable if Osana Najimi was absent in school.
Hazu Kashibuchi[]
Hazu Kashibuchi is thirsty. It would be easy to manipulate him into feeling indebted to you by giving him a drink.
Ayano can complete this task by purchasing a soda from a Vending Machine and then giving the soda to him.
Cooking Club Members[]
Saki Miyu[]
Saki Miyu has lost her bra somewhere on school grounds. Locate the bra, then return it to her.
The item can be found on the most northern part of Akademi's wall, just a couple of meters from the Confession Tree. It will not spawn unless Ayano has accepted the task.
Drama Club Members[]
Riku Soma[]
Riku Soma wants a photograph of the elusive kitten that he spotted somewhere on school grounds. Take a picture of the kitten, save it and show it to him.
The kitten is found just a couple of meters right from the incinerator area.
Kokona Haruka[]
Kokona Haruka's school uniform is too tight. Discover a way to provide her with a looser uniform.
Ayano can complete this task by going to the Sewing Room and modifying the spare uniform which can be bought from Info-Chan through the Drops menu or through the Nozama web store.
Art Club Members[]
Geiju Tsuka[]
Geiju Tsuka needs a bucket of a white paint, but apparently, the white paint has gone missing. He does not seem to know where it might be. Search in the logical locations, locate the paint bucket, and bring it to him.
Ayano can complete this task by heading to the Art Room and looking at the shelf full of paint (left side). Its on the second row.
Light Music Club Members[]
Gita Yamahato[]
Gita Yamahato believes that Miyuji Shan's current personality might be an elaboract act. Wait until Miyuji thinks she is alone, then take a photo of Miyuji that demonstrates her true nature.
Ayano can complete this task by taking a photo of Miyuji when she is playing air guitar in the Light Music Club during lunch time.
This task will be unavailable if Miyuji Shan is absent, or the Light Music Club shuts down.
Martial Arts Club members[]
Budo Masuta[]
Budo Masuta wants the former president of the Martial Arts Club to return and share her wisdom. Identify the former president and invite her to the club.
Ayano can complete this task by talking to Raibaru Fumetsu and asking her if she wants to come back to the Martial Arts Club. This will create an opportunity to eliminate Osana while Raibaru goes and teaches one last lesson to the Martial Arts Club, leaving Osana alone.
Ayano must befriend all of the Martial Arts Club members in order to gain Budo's trust and access his task.
This task will be unavailable if Raibaru Fumetsu is absent, or the Martial Arts Club shuts down.
Sho Kunin[]
Sho Kunin wants to fight a worthy opponent. Speak to Budo inside his clubroom and arrange a fight with Sho.
Ayano can complete this task by asking Budo Masuta when he's inside the Martial Arts Club to practice the sparring minigame, selecting Sho Kunin as your opponent, and beating him afterwards.
Juku Ren[]
Juku Ren wants to develop his muscles. Bring him a dumbbell. You can find a dumbbell in one of the storage rooms in the school gymnasium. You can place a dumbbell into a bucket to transport it discreetly.
Ayano can complete this by bringing a dumbbell and dropping it near his spot. Ayano can conceal the dumbbell in a bucket to avoid drawing suspicion. (Unless she is in the Sports Club). She can also hide the dumbbell inside the Weapon Bag, and she doesn't need to take it out either to complete the task.
This task can sometimes be tricky to accomplish, as Juku Ren sometimes might leave the area, ignoring the dumbbell. Additionally, other students who stumble upon the dumbbell might pick it up and return it to its proper location.
Mina Rai[]
Mina Rai is disappointed that someone tracked muddy shoeprints inside of the tea house in the Zen Garden on the east side of the school. Fill a bucket with water, add bleach to the bucket, dip as mop in the bucket, and use the mop to clean up the shoeprints.
Ayano can complete this task by cleaning up the muddy shoeprints using the mop and a bucket of water at the Zen Garden on the east side of the school near the outdoor cafeteria.
As of 2023 builds, the footprints have been moved from the outside pathway to inside the red building found inside the East Zen Garden.
The muddy shoeprints can be cleaned up even before you accept Mina's task.
Shima Shiya[]
Shima Shiya loosened the joints of the wooden training dummy inside the Martial Arts Club. Obtain a wrench from the pump room underneath the school swimming pool and use the wrench to fix the dummy's broken limbs.
Ayano can complete this task by walking up to the broken dummy with the pipe wrench. The player needs to conceal the wrench (such as a garbage bin or weapon bag) to avoid suspicion.
If Shima sees the player holding the pipe wrench, she will ask them if they are going to fix the dummy with the wrench.
Gaming Club members[]
Gema Taku[]
Gema Taku doesn't understand why women avoid and ignore him. Ask Musume and her friends what they dislike about Gema.
Ayano can complete the task by asking each of the bullies about Gema and reporting back to him. His appearance will change according to the reasons the bullies listed the next day, and they can later be seen leering at him in the Gaming Club. This creates an opportunity to eliminate Osana whilst she's on a sunbathing on Thursday, as she will be alone at a secluded area.
This task can only be completed and available before 8 A.M, and the task will be unavailable if at least one bully is dead or after class time (After 8 AM).
Pippi Osu[]
Pippi Osu wants to know if her console is defective. Play her disc on your game console at home and tell her what happens next.
Ayano can complete this task by playing Yanvania during the night at home and defeating the boss. It will not be playable unless Ayano has accepted the task.
Ryuto Ippongo[]
Ryuto Ippongo has lost his bandana. Locate his bandana and return it to him.
The bandana can be found between the labyrinth and the school (back of school). It will not spawn unless the player has accepted the task.
Bullies[]
Musume Ronshaku[]
Musume Ronshaku thinks that Horuda Puresu is hiding a dirty secret. Find out where Horuda spends her time, and take a photo of what she does there.
Ayano can complete this task by going to the rooftop and take a picture of Horuda reading her book.
This task will be unavailable if Horuda Puresu is absent in school.
- Musume's old task
Before the September 15th, 2019 build, Musume would ask for cigarettes. Ayano could complete this task by purchasing cigarettes from Info-chan. This task was changed because it was identical of Hayanari Tsumeato's task.
Delinquents[]
Delinquent tasks are different from normal tasks. Normal tasks involve befriending a student, to get them to do favors for you, such as following, distracting and leaving. The Delinquents however, don't give you these favors. Instead, their tasks are one of the mandatory requirements to join their gang.
Umeji Kizuguchi[]
Umeji Kizuguchi is trying to get rid of you, so he told you to bring him $100, because he thinks it's outside of your capability. Show him that he's wrong.
Ayano can complete this task by earning money through a part-time job at a maid café, or by purchasing cash from Info-chan.
Hokuto Furukizu[]
Hokuto Furukizu has challenged you to bring a weapon to prove your bravery. He thinks that you are too faint-hearted to carry a knife. Prove him wrong.
Ayano can complete this task by taking a knife from the Cooking Club or the rooftop (Debug), or taking the ritual knife from the occult club room.
Gaku Hikitsuri[]
Gaku Hikitsuri believes that the headmaster has a secret stash of alcohol hidden somewhere in his office. Infiltrate the Headmaster's Office to retrieve the booze.
The bottle of sake can be found just behind the headmaster's desk. Ayano can retrieve the bottle during lunch time when the headmaster is not in his office, or bombing his office with stink bombs. Any other time will make this impossible as attempting to retrieve the bottle will result in the headmaster pointing a taser at Ayano.
Hayanari Tsumeato[]
Hayanari Tsumeato is extremely dismissive of you, but has expressed an interest in smoking cigarettes. Perhaps if you bring him what he wants, he might take you more seriously.
Ayano can complete this task purchase cigarettes from Info-chan for 5 info points, buy the cigarettes at town from the convenience store, or steal the cigarettes from Kaho Kanokogi's desk at the faculty room.
Dairoku Surikizu[]
Dairoku Surikizu is under the impression that you are too well-behaved to break school rules. To convince him otherwise, you must steal an answer sheet from the Faculty Room.
This task can be tricky to accomplish. The player will need to make sure that nobody is in the room. The easiest method is to wait until all the teachers leave for class at 8:15, and then distract Kyoshi Tachikawa, the gym teacher, using giggles or the radio. Ayano can also give duplicated answer sheet to Dairoku after Info-Chan duplicate the original answer sheet.
Togo Atatsuma (1980s)[]
Togo Atatsuma is being antagonized by the local gang. Talk to him outside of the school gates after 3:30 PM to defeat his enemies in a brawl.
Ryoba must talk to him to leave school at 3:30 PM, and beat all of his enemies in the town. After Ryoba successfully beaten the enemies, Ryoba will be able to interact with the Yakuza in the town at night and provide her a free service (It will become paid if Ryoba talks to the Yakuza twice).
Placeholder tasks[]
202X[]
Since most students do not have individual tasks, a placeholder task has been given to them. This placeholder task will supposedly be replaced with individual tasks after the demo.
The student needs to write a report, but can't find the necessary information online. Help them get the info they need.
Ayano can complete this task by going to the library and looking around the shelves for a "Check Out Book" prompt.
1980s[]
As of the April 15th 2023 Build, there are now 10 placeholder tasks randomly assigned to different students in 1980s Mode.
- Task No.1
The student wants someone to finish an annoying school assignment for them. Go to the Library and complete the assignment.
- Task No.2
The student wants Ryoba to help make copies of flyers in order to help promote his friend's band. Head to the Computer Lab and use the printer to make the copies.
- Task No.3
The student is very thirsty and wants something to drink. The only problem is, they don't have enough money for one. Go to the vending machines in the outdoor cafeteria or the 2nd floor cafeteria and buy them a soda.
- Task No.4
The student is very hungry, and didn't have anything for breakfast. Head to the Home Economics Room to make a bento for them.
- Task No.5
The student is very cold, and wants something warm to wear. Head to the Sewing Room to make a scarf for the student.
- Task No. 6
The student is suffering from a headache but is too scared to go to the Infirmary and ask for them because of the "nasty" and "creepy" anatomical model. Go to the Infirmary and ask the Nurse to give you pills that will alleviate headache symptoms.
- Task No. 7
The student wants Ryoba to fix his younger sibling's broken wooden toy. Go to the Workshop at the Second Floor and fix the toy.
- Task No. 8
The student wants Ryoba to go to the Student Council Room and bring back his friend's lewd magazine. It had been confiscated by the Student Council.
- Task No. 9
The student wants Ryoba to go to the Art Room on the Third Floor and improve his / her painting.
- Task No. 10
The student wants a rose for his girlfriend. Go nearby the Gymnasium and find the only Rose Bush. This task is exclusive to the Suitors.
Trivia[]
- Tasks were implemented in the October 8th, 2015 Build.
- In some versions, Supana Churu had Kizana's task, due to her getting Kizana's old ID (34).
- In the full game, Ayano will be able to do tasks for rivals as well. This will open new gameplay options.[5]
- As of May 2023 Builds, in 1980s Mode, Ryoba is now be able to befriend all rivals. However, starting from 2nd rival to the final rival, Ryoba needs to do a little work (such as gaining Study stats) in order to access their task
- Ayano can never make friends with faculty members. However it is unknown if this is applicable to Mida Rana and Muja Kina.[6]
- Raibaru Fumetsu is the only student who does not have a task at the start of the game.
