The manhole tool is a large weapon in Yandere Simulator.
Gameplay[]
The manhole tool can be found inside of the faculty room by the box used to store contraband. It can be used by Ayano Aishi to open the manhole to the sewer outside of the cafeteria to dispose of evidence, as an alternative from obtaining and then using Gaku Hikitsuri's crowbar instead.
Ayano carries the manhole tool with one hand, while resting on her right shoulder. It is seen as suspicious and cannot be concealed. If a student notices Ayano holding the manhole tool, they will give her a reputation penalty of 10 points at high atmosphere.
If Ayano performs a stealth kill with the manhole tool, neither she nor the weapon will get bloody.
Ayano cannot use the manhole tool when fighting a Heroic student or faculty members and will automatically lose, as the weapon is too unwieldy to use in close quarters.
The manhole tool can be placed inside the weapon bag, the cello case, or the trash can in order to conceal it.
The manhole tool can not be carried through a metal detector.
Killing Animations[]
There are 4 killing animations for the manhole tool, depending on Ayano's level of sanity.
- High Sanity: She will step forward and hit the student on the head with the manhole tool.
- Medium Sanity: She will knock the student down on their knee and then hit the student on the head.
- Low Sanity: She will knock the student down on their knee, hit them in the head, and then whack them repeatedly.
- Stealth Kill: She will put the manhole tool around the student's neck and break their neck.
Trivia[]
- The manhole tool's killing animation is the same as the axe, the dumbbell, the magical girl wand, the baseball bat, the shovel, the crowbar, the pipe, the boken, and the shinai.
