Holding the Fantasy Sword. December 19th, 2017.
The Fantasy Sword was a large weapon that was removed from Yandere Simulator.
Appearance[]
The exterior of the sword is silver and gray with a rounded area surrounding the hilt. The interior of the sword is gold and blue and reaches into a point, there is a red symbol above the hilt as well as a golden symbol, in the blue area.
Gameplay[]
The Fantasy Sword is found inside the Drama Club room. The sword cannot be concealed in Ayano Aishi's inventory and is seen as suspicious, so if any student sees her holding the weapon, her reputation will drop by ten points during high School Atmosphere.
Ayano cannot use the fantasy sword when fighting a Heroic student or Teachers and will automatically lose, as the weapon is too unwieldy to use in close quarters.
Ayano can put the sword inside a cello case or a trash can in order to conceal it.
Once disposed of, it won't return again.
Fantasy Sword Animations[]
There are 4 killing animations depending on Ayano's level of sanity.
- High Sanity: A diagonal slash through the student's stomach.
- Medium Sanity: Two diagonal slashes through the student's stomach.
- Low Sanity: Ayano knocks the student down to the ground and repeatedly stabs them from above.
- Stealth Kill: She covers the student's mouth and stabs them from behind.
Trivia[]
- The Fantasy Sword was implemented in the December 18th, 2017 Build.
- The Fantasy Sword killing animation is the same as katana, the knife blade, and the sword.
- It is meant as a joke weapon.[1]
- It was removed on the September 17th, 2023 build, because it won't make sense for lethal blades to be in the Drama Club.
- Additionally, the model for the sword was made by a volunteer who made it for practice, and asked YandereDev if they could have it in the game.
