Fun Girl (stylized as FUN GIRL) is a mysterious character in Yandere Simulator.

Previously, she could only be found by changing the code's Fun Value in the February 8th, 2016 Build, or trying to add Osana Najimi via the JSON files during the period between the January 3rd, 2017 Build and the August 31st, 2020 Build.

As of the August 31st, 2020 build, she can be reactivated by bringing back the anti-Osana countermeasures by modding the game.

In the April 7th, 2023 build, she can be reactivated by changing the code's Fun Value. Any new value will make her say some new dialogue. Additionally, typing the word "fun" 10 times will cause her to chase after the player.

In the January 5th, 2024 build, she has a role, when calling a phone number you get from Ayano's timeline in Ryoba's timeline , you cause a time paradox, and play 1980s mode in a alternative timeline.

Appearance[]

Fun Girl Hair Concept

Fun Girl's Original Hair Concept.

On the website and the January 3rd, 2017 Build, she has pale white skin with black veins coursing through. She has white hair in pigtails with two long, thick strands of hair hanging down. She also has black, hollow eyes, black mucus dripping out of them and her mouth. She wears the default school uniform, but colored black, with a white neck tie, along with black stockings and shoes.

In the February 8th, 2016 Build, the Fun Girl is shown as a pale, deathly white girl in front of a black background. She has long, white, messy pigtails. She does not move from her pose, and wears a grin. When the fun value is set to 666, she appears red, rather than white.

Background[]

This section contains spoilers. You have been warned!

Timeline #1[]

One day, a man named Saisho Saikou, founded the Saikou Corporation. He had two daughters and one son. The first daughter was Fun Girl, the second daughter, her twin sister, was Ichiko Saikou and the son was Ichirou Saikou. Described by Fun Girl herself, Saisho was a sick and twisted person who would do anything to accomplish his goals. He had something coming, something really bad, which is still unknown. Fun Girl found out about his plans, and she was planning to expose him to the public. Eventually, Saisho learned that Fun Girl knew what he was planning, so he decided to get rid of his own daughter. According to Fun Girl, he created a machine that could dismiss the rules of time and space, and erase anything that steps within it. Saisho had everything planned. He held a show in front of an audience. He told Fun Girl to step in that machine. She didn't know what this machine could do, but she thought she was safe, since there was a crowd watching. However, right after she stepped in, she got erased from existence, along with the machine. No one ever knew what happened, even Saisho himself.

Timeline #2[]

According to Fun Girl, the timeline the game currently takes place in, is very identical to the one she originates from, with one difference. Saisho, her father, was a sick and crazy person, but in this timeline, he's a successful inventor. Now that Fun Girl got erased from existence, she doesn't exist in that timeline either, because the machine that erased her cannot be re-created. Fun Girl tells the player that "she doesn't know how, but her twin sister, Ichiko, is searching for her" and that "it must be because they're twins". Her sister left her responsibilities as a member of the Saikou Family, so she could travel around the world to find her. As Fun Girl said, she has tried multiple times to stop her, because she's basically searching for a solution that doesn't exist, but she won't listen.

Gameplay[]

February 8th, 2016 Build[]

The Fun Girl can be found in-game by editing the Fun.txt in the StreamingAssets Folder. Within the text, there is a single zero, which the player can change. If not changed, the game will run as normal. Depending on the number the player types, there will be different responses. Once a number is entered and the game is started up, the menu will not appear, but the black screen with the floating head will. A text that depends on the number entered will appear slowly on the screen. The head will get close for a quick second jump scare before the game crashes. Only numbers 1-10 and 666 will work.

Through the texts, the Fun Girl will explain an experiment gone wrong where she was shattered across time and space where everything was still the same, except for the fact that she never existed.

After the February 15th, 2016 Build, she will not appear anymore. It will still be a black void, but only the text "BUT NOBODY CAME" will appear before the game crashes.

In a file named 'Level13', all of her responses can be seen.

Lvl13

Level 13.

  1. SO, YOU LIKE TO HAVE FUN? ME TOO.
  2. I HAVE A PLACE IN THIS WORLD. WELL, I WAS SUPPOSED TO.
  3. MY UNIVERSE IS IDENTICAL TO THIS ONE...WITH ONE DIFFERENCE.
  4. IN THIS UNIVERSE, MY FATHER INVENTED MANY THINGS. IN MY UNIVERSE, MY FATHER HAD JUST ONE MORE INVENTION.
  5. HIS MACHINE WAS GOING TO CHANGE EVERYTHING. IT DID. JUST NOT THE WAY HE WANTED.
  6. THE INVESTORS WANTED HIM TO PROVE THAT IT WAS SAFE. TO DEMONSTRATE HIS CONFIDENCE, HE PUT HIS OWN DAUGHTER INSIDE.
  7. THE MACHINE WAS TESTED ON MANY ANIMALS... BUT IT HAD NEVER BEEN TESTED ON A HUMAN.
  8. BEING SHATTERED ACROSS TIME AND SPACE WAS NOT THE WORST PART. THE WORST PART WAS BEING FORGOTTEN.
  9. IN THIS UNIVERSE, MY FATHER ONLY HAD ONE DAUGHTER. SHE'LL NEVER KNOW SHE HAD A SISTER.
  10. I CAN SEE EVERYTHING. HEAR EVERYTHING. BUT NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW THAT I EXISTED.

666. YOUR IDEA OF "FUN" SEEMS VERY VERY INTERESTING.

Any value after the 2/15/16 Build: BUT NOBODY CAME.

As of the January 3rd, 2017 Build, changing values in the folder won't do anything.

As of the January 4th, 2017 Build, the fun.txt file has been removed from the game files.

January 3rd, 2017 Build[]

After the January 3rd, 2017 Build, she can be found in-game by attempting to add Osana Najimi via the JSON file. When the player starts up the game after doing this, Fun Girl will appear and tell the player that they can no longer add Osana. After this, the game will crash. If the player deletes the fun.txt file, or edits the JSON file while the game is running and then restarts the day to apply changes, Ayano will be taken to a version of the game with a low school atmosphere, no students and with Fun Girl chasing her. When Fun Girl catches Ayano, the game will crash.

As of the January 4th, 2017 Build, the fun.txt file has been removed from the game files.

In a file named 'Level14', all of her responses can be seen.

Level14 file

Level 14.

Her dialogue goes as follows:

  1. ...
  2. HELLO!
  3. SO, WE MEET AGAIN.
  4. OR, PERHAPS WE NEVER MET.
  5. OR, PERHAPS WE DID MEET, BUT YOUR MEMORY WAS WIPED.
  6. OR, PERHAPS WE DID MEET, BUT IT WAS IN ANOTHER TIMELINE.
  7. YOU'LL HAVE TO FORGIVE ME. IT'S QUITE DIFFICULT FOR ME TO KEEP TRACK OF THESE THINGS.
  8. I'LL CUT TO THE CHASE.
  9. YOU'RE HERE BECAUSE YOU CHANGED THE NAME OF STUDENT #33 IN THE JSON FILE!
  10. YOU WERE PROBABLY TRYING TO GET OSANA TO SPAWN. I UNDERSTAND; YOU WANT A GLIMPSE OF THINGS TO COME...
  11. HOWEVER, I CAN'T LET YOU DO THAT.
  12. THAT "YANDEREDEV" GUY ASKED ME IF I'D BE WILLING TO BLOCK PEOPLE FROM SPAWNING OSANA...
  13. IT SOUNDED SLIGHTLY LESS BORING THAN DRIFTING AIMLESSLY ACROSS TIME AND SPACE, SO I AGREED.
  14. I'M SURE YOU'LL FIND A WAY TO GET PAST ME. AFTER ALL, YOU'RE THE TYPE OF PERSON WHO EDITS GAME FILES.
  15. I DON'T CARE IF YOU GET PAST ME. IT'S YANDEREDEV'S PROBLEM, NOT MINE.
  16. HOWEVER, YOU SHOULD BE WARNED...
  17. THIS SCREEN IS ONLY THE FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE. MORE COUNTERMEASURES AWAIT YOU BEYOND THIS POINT.
  18. YOU SHOULD PROBABLY JUST BE A GOOD CHILD AND WAIT UNTIL OSANA IS READY TO BE REVEALED.
  19. OKAY, THAT'S ENOUGH TALKING. I'M GOING TO KICK YOU OUT NOW.
  20. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THE GAME, CHANGE STUDENT #33'S NAME TO "RESERVED".
  21. BYE BYE!

August 7th, 2017 Build[]

As of the August 7th, 2017 Build, she can be found in-game by attempting to add Osana Najimi via the JSON file. When the player starts up the game after doing this, a red Fun Girl will appear and tell the player that they can no longer add Osana. After this, the game will crash.

Her dialogue goes as follows:

  1. ...
  2. HI AGAIN.
  3. DID YOU REALLY THINK IT'D BE THAT EASY?
  4. IF YOU WANT TO GET PAST ME, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO WORK A LITTLE HARDER.
  5. I KNOW YOU'LL FIGURE IT OUT EVENTUALLY. YOU'RE A RESOURCEFUL ONE.
  6. BUT UNTIL THEN, I'M GOING TO BE A THORN IN YOUR SIDE
  7. LIKE I SAID BEFORE..
  8. YOU SHOULD PROBABLY JUST BE A GOOD CHILD AND WAIT UNTIL OSANA IS READY TO BE REVEALED.
  9. OKAY. WE'RE DONE HERE.
  10. BEGONE.

April 2nd, 2018 Build[]

As of April 2nd, 2018 Build, the fun.txt file has been put back into the game files with new dialogue. Setting the values 0-10 as well as 666 will give the player dialogue from Fun Girl. After all the dialogue has been read, the game will crash. Here, along with information from Headmaster Tape #2, Fun Girl is implied to be Ichiko Saikou's twin sister from another timeline. It is unknown if Fun Girl is a canonical character within Yandere Simulator's lore.

Her dialogue goes as follows:

0. I'M SURPRISED NOBODY HAS FOUND THE FRONT VERSION YET. PUT "-FRONT" IN THE URL.

  1. "INVENTOR." HA. DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH
  2. HE NEVER INVENTED A SINGLE THING... ASIDE FROM WAYS TO MAKE HIS DAUGHTERS HATE THEIR LIVES.
  3. I KNEW EVERYTHING. AND HE KNEW I KNEW EVERYTHING.
  4. THE DAY I DECIDED TO EXPOSE HIM WAS THE DAY I BECAME THE OBSTACLE.
  5. HE DESTROYS EVERY OBSTACLE IN HIS PATH, NO MATTER THE COST.
  6. HE CAME UP WITH A REALLY, REEEEEALLY CLEVER IDEA TO GET RID OF ME. IT WORKED.
  7. NOW, ONLY ONE PERSON CAN HEAR ME... I GUESS IT MUST HAVE TO DO WITH BEING TWINS.
  8. SHE'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO BRING ME BACK. IN HER TIMELINE, THE TECHNOLOGY WAS NEVER INVENTED.
  9. I'VE TRIED TO STOP HER SO MANY TIMES, BUT SHE WON'T LISTEN. IT HAS CONSUMED HER.
  10. SHE'LL WASTE HER ENTIRE LIFE LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION THAT WILL NEVER EXIST.

666. YOUR IDEA OF "FUN" SEEMS VERY VERY INTERESTING.

  1. "IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THE GAME, MAKE SURE THAT STUDENT #33 AND STUDENT #34 ARE NAMED "RESERVED"."

The URL Fun Girl is talking about is this character's illustration on the official website. Putting "-front" after "aunt" in the URL will reveal the front illustration of said character.

April 26th, 2018 Build[]

Setting the values 0-10 as well as 69 and 666 will give the player dialogue from Fun Girl. After all the dialogue has been read, the game will crash.

Her dialogue goes as follows:

0. ...

  1. I NEVER SHOULD HAVE STEPPED INTO THAT MACHINE.
  2. I KNEW HE WAS PLANNING TO GET RID OF ME, BUT I DIDN'T THINK HE WOULD DO IT IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE. I THOUGHT I WAS SAFE, AS LONG AS OTHER PEOPLE WERE AROUND.
  3. IF HE WANTED ME DEAD, THERE WERE A MILLION WAYS TO DO IT WITHOUT LEAVING EVIDENCE. I DIDN'T THINK HE WOULD RISK KILLING HIS DAUGHTER IN FRONT OF A BUNCH OF INVESTORS.
  4. MY FIRST CLUE SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FACT THAT HE WAS SO RICH, HE DIDN'T NEED TO RELY ON INVESTORS ANYMORE. MAYBE ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE WERE ACTORS OR SOMETHING.
  5. HIS GOAL WASN'T TO KILL ME IN A STAGED ACCIDENT, WITH PEOPLE WATCHING. HIS GOAL WAS TO ORCHESTRATE A SITUATION WHERE I'D WILLINGLY PUT MYSELF INTO THAT MACHINE.
  6. WHY DIDN'T HE JUST KNOCK ME OUT AND PUT ME IN THE MACHINE WHEN NOBODY WAS AROUND? I'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY HE DID THINGS IN THE EXACT WAY THAT HE DID.
  7. HE PROBABLY WANTED THE SATISFACTION OF SEEING HIS BIGGEST OBSTACLE WILLINGLY ELIMINATE HERSELF RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. HE WAS SICK IN THAT WAY. IN MORE WAYS THAN YOU KNOW.
  8. A MACHINE THAT ERASES ITS CONTENTS FROM EXISTANCE. WIPES ALL EVIDENCE FROM HISTORY. SURE WOULD BE HANDY FOR A PSYCHO YANDERE GIRL TRYING TO ELIMINATE HER RIVALS, HUH?
  9. TOO BAD THE MACHINE ERASED ITSELF FROM HISTORY. I WONDER IF HE PLANNED FOR THAT TO HAPPEN? MAKES IT THE PERFECT CRIME. NOBODY WILL EVER KNOW HE DID IT, NOT EVEN HIMSELF.
  10. IN THIS TIMELINE, THE RULES OF PHYSICS ARE A BIT DIFFERENT. THAT MACHINE CAN NEVER BE RECREATED, AND NO MACHINE CAN BE INVENTED THAT CAN UNDO ITS EFFECTS. NOT VERY..."FUN".

69. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
666. SOMETIMES, I LIE. IT'S JUST TOO FUN. YOU EAT UP EVERYTHING I SAY. I WONDER WHAT ELSE I CAN TRICK YOU INTO BELIEVING?

June 1st, 2018 Build[]

Setting the values 0-10 as well as 69 and 666 will give the player dialogue from Fun Girl. After all the dialogue has been read, the game will crash.

Her dialogue goes as follows:

0. IF I HAD TO SAY WHEN THIS ALL BEGAN, THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE CATALYST...I GUESS IT WAS DURING THE BATTLE OF OKINAWA.

  1. HE WAS THERE, YOU KNOW. ONLY 17 AT THE TIME. THE WAR HAD BEEN GOING ON FOR 6 YEARS. IT ENGULFED HIS ADOLESCENCE.
  2. A LOT OF YOUNG MEN WERE MOBILIZED BY THE ARMY, SOME AS YOUNG AS 14. MILITARY AUTHORITIES ORDERED SCHOOLS TO FORCE THEIR STUDENTS TO..."VOLUNTEER."
  3. HE WAS ONE OF THE ONLY BOYS ON THE ISLAND WHO ACTUALLY WOULD HAVE SIGNED UP VOLUNTARILY. HE WAS FIERCELY PATRIOTIC. NATIONALISTIC, IN FACT.
  4. HE WANTED TO BE ON THE FRONT LINES, BUT HE WAS ASSIGNED TO KITCHEN DETAIL. HE KEPT TRYING TO SNEAK OUT, FIND A WEAPON, FIGHT THE ENEMY - NEVER SUCCEEDED.
  5. ONE DAY, A BOMB HIT HIS DORMITORY. DOZENS OF HIS CLASSMATES DIED IN AN INSTANT. HE SPENT HOURS BURIED UNDER RUBBLE, SURROUNDED BY THE CORPSES OF HIS FRIENDS, BEFORE HELP ARRIVED.
  6. THE ARMY RESCUED HIM FROM THE RUBBLE AND TOOK HIM WITH THEM AS THEY FOLLOWED ORDERS TO RETREAT FURTHER INTO THE ISLAND. HE BIT AND CLAWED AT THEM, CALLED THEM COWARDS FOR FALLING BACK.
  7. IN AN UNDERGROUND BUNKER WITH LITTLE LIGHT, HE HAD NOTHING TO EAT BUT SALTED CABBAGE, NOTHING TO DRINK BUT DIRTY WATER, AND NOWHERE COMFORTABLE TO SLEEP.
  8. BOMBS DROPPED AT ALMOST EVERY HOUR OF THE DAY. CONSTANT NOISE, CONSTANT FEAR. GETTING SLEEP WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE, AND THE THREAT OF DEATH NEVER, EVER WENT AWAY.
  9. EVENTUALLY, ENEMY SOLDIERS DISCOVERED THE BUNKER. SURROUNDED, HE PULLED THE PIN ON A GRENADE - TRIED TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF TO KILL HIS ENEMIES. THE GRENADE WAS A DUD. HE WAS CAPTURED.
  10. IT'S BEEN OVER 7 DECADES, BUT HIS MIND IS STILL BACK THERE IN OKINAWA. EVERY TIME HE CLOSES HIS EYES, HE SEES IMAGES OF HIS DEAD CLASSMATES ON THE BACKS OF HIS EYELIDS.

69. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
666. SOMETIMES, I LIE. IT'S JUST TOO FUN. YOU EAT UP EVERYTHING I SAY. I WONDER WHAT ELSE I CAN TRICK YOU INTO BELIEVING?

December 1, 2018 Build[]

Setting the values 0-10 as well as 69 and 666 will give the player dialogue from Fun Girl. After all the dialogue has been read, the game will crash.

Her dialogue goes as follows:

0. ...YOU KNOW YOU CAN USE THE > AND < KEYS HERE, RIGHT?

  1. BEFORE AND AFTER THE WAR, HIS DEFINING CHARACTER TRAITS WERE HIS STRONG SENSE OF PATRIOTISM AND UNSHAKABLE NATIONALISM.
  2. HE CONSIDERED JAPAN'S SURRENDER TO BE A MINOR SETBACK. TO HIM, THE WAR NEVER TRULY ENDED; THERE WAS ONLY TEMPORARY CEASEFIRE.
  3. HE FIRMLY BELIEVED THAT THE JAPANESE RACE WAS SUPERIOR TO ALL OTHER ETHNIC GROUPS; THE ONE AND ONLY RACE FIT TO CONQUER AND RULE THE WORLD.
  4. HIS STRONGEST WISH WAS TO SEE JAPAN REVIVE ITS IMPERIALISM AND INSTATE A GLOBAL HEGEMONY. HE IMAGINED A WORLD RULED BY JAPANESE AS A UTOPIA.
  5. AFTER THE WAR, WESTERN CULTURE BEGAN TO INFLUENCE JAPANESE SOCIETY. THIS MADE HIM FURIOUS; EVEN MORE SO THAN HIS EXPERIENCES IN OKINAWA.
  6. THE WORLD MOVED FORWARD, BUT HE DID NOT. HIS VALUES ARE STILL FIRMLY ROOTED IN 1930S JAPAN. HE DESPISES LIBERALISM AND DEMOCRACY.
  7. IN FACT, HE WAS SO OLD-FASHIONED THAT HE EVEN INSISTED ON WEARING TRADITIONAL JAPANESE CLOTHING, RIGHT UP UNTIL THE DAY OF HIS DEATH.
  8. HE KNEW THAT IF HIS POLITICAL BELIEFS EVER BECAME PUBLIC, HIS COMPANY WOULD FACE A PR DISASTER, SO HE KEPT HIS MOST RADICAL OPINIONS PRIVATE.
  9. HE FELT AS THOUGH HE WAS SURROUNDED BE EVILS THAT WERE DESTROYING HIS COUNTRY. HOLDING HIS TONGUE WAS ABSOLUTE TORTURE FOR HIM.
  10. HE LOVED JAPAN THE SAME WAY YOU LOVE YOUR "SENPAI". AND, JUST LIKE YOU, HE WAS WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR THE ONE HE LOVED.

69. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
666. SOMETIMES, I LIE. IT'S JUST TOO FUN. YOU EAT UP EVERYTHING I SAY. I WONDER WHAT ELSE I CAN TRICK YOU INTO BELIEVING?

July 18th, 2019 Build[]

As of the July 18th, 2019 Build, she can be found in-game by attempting to give Raibaru Fumetsu's hairstyle or the Protective persona to a student via the JSON file. When the player starts up the game after doing this, Fun Girl will appear and prevent the player from doing so. After this, the game will crash.

Her dialogue goes as follows:

  1. ...
  2. HELLO!
  3. WOW, IT'S BEEN A WHILE, HASN'T IT?
  4. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME?
  5. GEEZ, IT'S GOT TO BE... YEARS, RIGHT?
  6. THEN AGAIN, IT'S AN IRRELEVANT QUESTION.
  7. YOU WOULDN'T RECALL ALL THE ALTERNATE TIMELINES, OR TIMES WHEN I ERASED YOUR MEMORY.
  8. AAAAANYWAY. I BET YOU'RE WONDERING WHY YOU'RE HERE.
  9. IN SHORT: YOU'VE BEEN A BAAAAAD CHILD! YOU TAMPERED WITH THE JSON FILE!
  10. WERE YOU TRYING TO SNEAK A CHEEKY PEEK AT UPCOMING CONTENT?
  11. I CAN'T BLAME YOU, BUT I CAN'T MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU, EITHER.
  12. BASICALLY, IF YOU EDIT THE JSON IN CERTAIN WAYS, THEN I'LL SHOW UP.
  13. TO BE HONEST, IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO GET AROUND ME.
  14. BASICALLY, I'M ONLY HERE TO STOP THE LAZY ONES WHO GIVE UP AT THE FIRST SIGN OF SLIGHT RESISTANCE.
  15. BUT, YOU KNOW, YOU REALLY SHOULD JUST WAIT PATIENTLY LIKE A GOOD CHILD.
  16. YEAH, YEAH, I KNOW, YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YEARS... BUT I DON'T WANT TO HEAR YOU WHINING.
  17. BECAUSE OF HOW I EXPERIENCE TIME, I'VE BEEN WAITING CENTURIES!
  18. SURELY, YOU CAN WAIT JUST A FEW MONTHS, RIGHT?
  19. ...ANYWAY, THAT'S ENOUGH TALK.
  20. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THE GAME, DON'T GIVE ANYONE HAIRSTYLE #21 OR PERSONA #15.
  21. OKAY, BYE BYEEEEEEEEEE!

August 31st 2020 Build/Demo[]

As of the August 31st 2020 Build, she can be found in-game by re-activating the anti-Osana countermeasures by modding the game. After this, the game will crash.

Her dialogue goes as follows:

  1. ...
  2. HUH?
  3. HOW DID YOU GET HERE?
  4. AWW, YOU MODDED THE GAME JUST SO YOU COULD TALK TO LITTLE OL' ME AGAIN?
  5. THAT'S SO SWEET! I'M TOUCHED.
  6. IF YOU WERE HOPING FOR A SURPRISE, THOUGH, I'M AFRAID I'LL HAVE TO DISAPPOINT YOU.
  7. THERE'S NOTHING FOR YOU TO SEE HERE.
  8. AT LEAST, NOT AT THIS EXACT MOMENT.
  9. I'M SURE WE'LL MEET AGAIN.
  10. FOR NOW, GET OUT OF HERE AND GO PLAY WITH OSANA!

Yandere Simulator Website[]

Main article: Easter Eggs
FunGirlFuture

The website after the Konami code has been entered.

If the Konami code is entered on the Yandere Simulator website's Character page, all profiles and images are replaced with Fun Girl's instead, with all information regarding her in question marks. The page's color scheme will change to red and black, with static in the background. To revert it, the page must be refreshed.

The Japanese text appears as follows:

アラアラ...

あなた誰?

ふふ...

はじめまして。

私たちは一緒に多くの楽しみを持ってしようとしています。

This roughly translates to:

"Ara ara...

Who are you?

Fufu...

Nice to meet you. We are going to have a lot of fun together."

If the cursor is moved over to the full body image of Fun Girl, the screen will 'switch off' leaving nothing but a black screen on the website. Putting in the code again also causes the screen to shut off, followed by multiple Fun Girls appearing, glitching and flickering continuously, while the background changes from black to red. Putting in the code again makes the background turn back to the color black before turning back to red.

April 7th Build, 2023[]

As of the April 7th, 2023 Build, she can be activated in-game by writing her name 10 times at school while Debug Command are enabled.

Her dialogue goes as followed

  1. ...
  2. WELL... WELL... WELL.
  3. WE MEET AGAIN.
  4. OR PERHAPS WE'RE MEETING FOR THE FIRST TIME.
  5. HARD TO SAY.
  6. I KNOW "WHERE" I AM BUT I DON'T KNOW "WHEN" I AM.
  7. ONE THING IS FOR SURE...
  8. THIS ISN'T THE LAST TIME WE'LL MEET
  9. WHEN WE MEET AGAIN
  10. IT'S GONNA BE BIBICAL
  11. FOR NOW GET OUT OF HERE AND GO PLAY 1980S MODE OR SOMETHING

Yandere Dev's unlisted video[]

Fun girl

The video.

There is a hidden video that can only be accessed after translating the binary found on the update video October Progress Report: Osana Progress, Framerate Improvement, and Pose Mode (Fun Girl can also be seen in this video for a few seconds at the 6: 00-minute mark). This binary code translates to the video Fun.mp4. The video plays a full body image of Fun Girl but with frequent distortions and glitches as the video goes on. A backward message is also heard throughout the video and when backmasked, it plays a voiced version of the Japanese text from Fun girl's Yandere Simulator website information. You can access the video here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyCrKEeeY_I

Trivia[]

  • YandereDev claims to not know this Fun Girl, and has made a subtle hint that she is from a game.[2][3]
  • The Fun Girl was implemented because of the amount of data-miners trying to find secrets within the game's code. YandereDev felt guilty for not having any secrets so he decided to add the Fun Girl into the game. This paragraph was later deleted as to not spoil the surprise.[4]
  • She was implemented in the February 8th, 2016 Build and removed in the February 15th, 2016 Build.
    • She was then re-implemented in the January 3rd, 2017 Build.
  • Fun Girl can be seen in the video, "The Reason Yandere-chan Lacks Emotions" at the 12:30 minute mark.[5]
  • Fun Girl breaks the 4th wall because she knows that the player has modified the game files to reach her or Osana.
  • There is a possibility that Fun Girl is a reference to W. D. Gaster from the 2015 game Undertale.
    • Like with Fun Girl, things related to Gaster can only be found by datamining.
    • There is a "FUN" variable in Undertale that is related to Gaster, and will slightly affect gameplay depending on its value.
    • Like Fun Girl, Gaster is also said to have been shattered throughout space and time due to a failed experiment, and fans headcanon he was then forgotten.
    • The "but nobody came..." line appears in Undertale's Genocide Route, and is commonly associated with it online, further implying a connection between Fun Girl and Gaster.
    • In Undertale, there is a room that can only be hacked into that contains dialogue in wingdings for an "entry number seventeen", widely attributed to Gaster. One line notes that an experiment "seems very very interesting", something that Fun Girl also said when the value of 666 was used in her initial debut. The number six is also associated with Gaster.
    • She appears in the title screen as a Easter egg.
