This article is for Explosion. Were you looking for Expulsion?

Explosion is a lethal way to eliminate your rivals in Yandere Simulator. This does not leave any evidence linked to the protagonist; however, it is considered a quick, violent and homicidal elimination method due to its nature.

Gameplay[]

1980s Mode[]

The only way Ryoba can explode a rival in 1980s Mode is via an explosive device obtained from The Yakuza.

To gain access to the device, Ryoba must talk to Togo Atatsuma and obtain his task. After school, Ryoba must go to the entrance of the school gates, find Togo near the "Go Home" button and talk to him. The player must then defeat all five gang members. Once completed, Togo will thank Ryoba for her help and tell her to visit his brother in Buraza Town alleyway and talk to him. The Yakuza will offer you five items on the menu to select, for which the player must go to the bottom and click "Explosive".

Ryoba can purchase additional explosives for $1,000 from The Yakuza.

If the player selects the explosive as an item to take to school, the remote detonator and explosive device will appear next to Ryoba's locker. However, this is no longer possible. As of the September 1st, 2024 build, the detonator and device will now appear in Ryoba's duffel bag if she chooses to bring it to school. Both items are considered suspicious, but only one of both items can be concealed in her bookbag and trash can.

If the device is detonated by Ryoba, it will make a loud noise, and burn an NPC to flames in the 4-meter radius. If an NPC walks into the detonated device, they will immediately experience the same as an NPC who was on or near the device. The player is unable to set off the explosive device if they are near, however, Ryoba will be killed if she walks into the aftermath of the explosion.

202X Mode[]

This rival specific elimination for Amai can only be done on a Thursday during the Second Week.

In order to kill Amai with explosion, Ayano has to obtain a screwdriver either from the workshop or at home. The player will have to go to the stove in the Home Ec Room and disable the flame sensors.

The player has to obtain the pipe wrench either from the pump room or the shed in Ayano's House if bought from the Hardware Store in Buraza Town. It is suspicious, so the player can conceal it in the weapon bag, then go back to the Home Ec Room and replace the gas knob with the ignition knob.

The player will have go to the rooftop control panel and disable the Gas Vent.

This can be also used to expel Amai by reporting creating fire hazard to guidance counselor.

At 4:00 PM. Amai will go to the Home Ec Room and if the oven wasn't sabotaged, then the oven won't explode and Amai won't die. If it was, then it will create a huge explosion and Amai will die. If Ayano was too close to the sabotaged oven when Amai creates a huge explosion, then she'll die too, resulting in a game over. If Ayano walks over to the oven that was sabotaged with the candle or the portable bunsen burner, then it will also end in a game over.

Trivia[]

  • After the September 1st, 2024 build, if Ryoba brings the explosive device to school, it will appear in her Duffel Bag instead of near her locker.
