Eisaku Nonoshita, also known as the "Evil Photographer"[1] is a minor antagonist who appeared in the Karlheinz Asylum in 1980s Mode.
Appearance[]
Eisaku is a tall man and his blackish-brown hair is short and combed back.
He dressed in a dark navy suit paired with a crisp white dress shirt, partially unbuttoned at the collar. He wears black dress shoes and a belt. He wear black sunglasses with brown lenses and holds a knife and a camera.
Personality[]
Eisaku Nonoshita was a professional photographer who had struggled financially for many years.
One of his friends, despite possessing almost no real skill with a camera, achieved tremendous financial success by selling a "gravure set" - a collection of photos of a beautiful young model in a bikini. This infuriated Eisaku. "I spent years of my life working my ass off, trying to master the art of photography, only to watch someone with inferior skills surpass me just because he took lewd pictures of some harlot?" He felt as though his years of hardship had been robbed of all meaning.
Bitter and disillusioned, Eisaku decided to abandon his ideals and simply copy his friend's approach. No more effort. No more artistry. Just the exploitation of young women. But, there was one problem: he didn't have enough money to hire a model. So, he devised a plan. Using the last of his savings, he paid a group of schoolgirls to spread a rumor: "The ultimate test of courage for a girl is to spend a night in the abandoned insane asylum on the edge of town." He camped inside the asylum...and waited.
His plan worked flawlessly. Shortly after midnight, a young woman crept inside the asylum. Eisaku allowed her to wander deep into the building before emerging from the shadows and blocking her path to the exit. Brandishing a knife, he ordered her to strip and let him photograph her. Terrified for her life, she complied, shivering in her underwear as the asylum echoed with the sound of his camera shutter - and his laughter, fueled by visions of the money he'd earn from selling the pictures.
When he finished, Eisaku warned her that if she went to the police or told anyone what awaited in the asylum, he would ensure the photographs spread far and wide. Horrified by the threat of public ruin, the girl kept silent. The rumor persisted, and the next night, another unsuspecting young woman ventured into the asylum, and Eisaku repeated the process. In what felt like no time at all, he accrued enough photographs to almost completely fill a duffel bag.
But, Eisaku would never profit from his crimes. One evening, as he waited for his next victim, the scent of smoke filled his nose. He turned to see his duffel bag engulfed in flames. After recovering from the shock of such a sight, he quickly deduced what must have happened: one of his victims had returned under the cover of darkness and set fire to his bag, destroying the photographs and ruining his plans.
He sprinted through the asylum in a frenzy, desperate to exact punishment on the girl before she escaped, but he never even managed to catch a glimpse of her; she vanished into the night before he could take revenge. Eisaku, seething with rage, refused to leave empty-handed. He stubbornly remained in the asylum, determined to lie in wait for more victims. However, this was a decision that would prove fatal.
Just days later, one of his victims returned, this time armed with a knife. Eisaku scoffed; he was firmly convinced that he would never be overpowered by some girl. But, the moment she lunged at him, his confidence evaporated. Her movements were practiced and precise; she fought like someone who had spent years with a blade in her hand. He realized that he had severely underestimated her, and fought back with all the strength he could muster.
A single misstep sent Eisaku tumbling to the floor - and, within moments of his body hitting the ground, the girl pinned him and drove her knife into him again and again, stabbing until he was almost completely unrecognizable as a human being. She left him there to rot in the asylum, where he was eventually discovered by another girl who had come to test her courage. That girl reported the corpse to the police, who investigated his death and attempted to identify the killer, but never succeeded.
After that, the asylum's reputation shifted. Few still spoke of it as a place for tests of courage. But, in time, a new rumor began to spread:
"Hey, I heard there's a ghost haunting the abandoned insane asylum..."
"Apparently, it's the spirit of some dude who died there in the late '80s..."
"He must have died with regrets, or in agony, or while burning with hatred..."
"If you go to the asylum after midnight, you can see him..."
"He floats through the air, covered in stab wounds, moaning in pain..."And so, in 202X, the asylum has once again became a destination for young thrill-seekers eager to prove their bravery in a test of courage...
Eisaku seems to have a bit of perversion and greed as he takes pictures of naked girls just to make money off of the photos, and gets enraged over his pictures burning, regardless of whether he witnesses Ryoba Aishi doing so. According to the official site, his weakness is "envy and greed."
Before the events of 1980s Mode, Eisaku started a rumor about the abandoned asylum, claiming that it is haunted, so he could get the girls by themselves, where he would not be seen by the police. This caused several schoolgirls to flock there and explore it at night as a "test of courage." As they arrived, he threatened them with a knife and took the lewd photographs of them. He only took pictures and let them escape afterwards, keeping the pictures in duffle bags so that he could sell them later.
He was eventually killed inside the asylum by one of the girls he had victimized and according to rumors, haunts it to the present day,[2] which aligns with the fact that the person has to know and enough time to realize they're being murdered to become a ghost in the game universe.[3]
