Eiichi Asari

Eiichi Asari is one of the male students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.

Appearance[]

Current[]

Eiichi has tyrian purple hair with long bangs that are divided into two parts. His right bangs curls inwards, partially covering his right eyebrow and eye, with a small strand above his eyebrow. His eyes are dark orange.

If the player tells him Moeko Rakuyona's hairstyle preference in order to matchmake him with her, he will tie a small tuft of hair into a small ponytail with a white hair tie on the back of his head or slick back all the hair in front of his face except for the strand above his eyebrow.

He wears the default 1980s uniform with a black jabot wrapped around his neck.

Previous[]

Before the January 5th, 2024 Build, his hair was auburn with a strand hanging just next to his left eye and his eyes were dark orange.

Before the May 1st, 2022 Build, he had short, dark brown hair. His bangs were cut short and parted on the right, and individual strands fell over his forehead. His eyes were light purple.

Before the October 21st, 2024 Build, his hair was brown and his eyes were blue.

Among the personas that are currently implemented in the game, Eiichi is a Snitch. If he sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, he will run to the landline phone in the Faculty Room and call the police. He cannot participate in physical fights against assassins unless he witnesses Moeko's murder.

Regular[]

At 7:05 AM, Eiichi enters the school grounds with the rest of the Drama Club. He walks to his locker at 7:10 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, he walks into the Drama Club to have a club meeting. At 7:20 AM, he walks into the Gymnasium and watches Daichi Suzuki and Chidori Ikegami rehearse for the upcoming play. At 8:00 AM, Eiichi walks into Classroom 3-1 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM, and leaves to go to the outside of the Drama Club to eat his lunch at 1:00 PM.

Eiichi walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterwards, he heads to the Gymnasium to participate in club activities and stays there until the end of the day.

If the Drama Club is disbanded, he will still watch Daichi and Chidori rehearse along with the other former members.

Week 2[]

During week 2, Eiichi will deviate from his regular routine to follow Moeko Rakuyona around the school from time to time. When he is not stalking her, he will spend time in the Plaza.

Week 4[]

Week 6[]

At 7:15 AM, he walks into the Drama Club room to have the daily club meeting. At 7:20 AM, he walks into the Gymnasium and patrols.

Moeko Rakuyona[]

Eiichi has a crush on Moeko, which means that he is her suitor. If he is matched with Moeko, the two will begin a romantic relationship with each other, which will eliminate Moeko. If he witnesses Moeko's murder, he will run to Ryoba and try to apprehend her.

Trivia[]

The "ei" part of his name, Eiichi, can be written as "to reflect/project (light)" (written as 瑛 or 映), "prosperity" (栄), "hero" (英), or "recitation, poem" (詠). The "-ichi" (一) part is a suffix in Japanese masculine names which means "one".
- His surname, Asari, means "shallow" (asa, 浅) and "advantage, benefit" (ri, 利).
After the events of 1980s Mode, Eiichi starred in a movie called Yantanic with his clubmate Himeko Dereguchi. A poster for the movie can be seen when Taro Yamada meets Kizana Sunobu.^[2] YandereDev also confirms that Eiichi became an actor.^[3]
