The Counselor's Office is a room in Akademi.
Appearance[]
This room is located in the west wing of the first floor. It uses the exact same props as the Headmaster's Office. The floor is a scarlet red with a white carpet in the middle. A desk is located on the north side. Two beige couches and a coffee table are located on the south side. Bookshelves line each of the side walls with potted plants at the end near the table.
Gameplay[]
The Guidance Counselor, Genka Kunahito, works here. In 1980s Mode, the Guidance Counselor is Mae Kunahito, Genka's mother.
In 202X Kuroko Kamenaga patrols this room. In 1989, Reiichi Tanaami patrols this room. They patrol the area at 7:05 AM, 7:44 AM, 1:03 PM, 1:22 PM, and 3:36 PM. Unlike the other rooms they patrol, they patrol the exterior of this room.
The protagonist must report to her in this room to get her rival expelled. When a rival is reported, the latter will be taken to the Counselor's Office, where she will be lectured by Genka.
If the protagonist is lectured by a teacher or a Student Council member for suspicious behaviour (such as laughing insanely), she will be sent here. The act of being sent here will increase her sanity back to 100%.[1]
In the future, if Ayano is a delinquent and is sent to the Counselor's Office, it will be an automatic Game Over.[2]
Trivia[]
- This room was fully furnished in the December 2nd, 2015 Build.
- The display on the computer shows the game's XML file on all of the students.
- David Hawley, more known as Cleveland Rock, provided music for the guidance counselor minigame.
- To activate Bad Romance Mode you would have had to get the stapler from the Counselor's office, which was later moved to the Headmaster's Office.
- As of the October 14th, 2018 Build, the player can no longer freely roam around the office. Instead, she can only go to the Counselor to report a rival, or if she is sent there by a teacher or by a Student Council member.
- This is the only room where the Vice-president patrols the outside, instead of the inside like with the other rooms.
