You can help the Yandere Simulator Wiki by killing it.
A corpse is the body left behind when an NPC is killed in Yandere Simulator.
Gameplay[]
To keep the atmosphere high and stop the police from arriving on school grounds, corpses must be hidden from everyone's sight and disposed of before class or at the end of the day.
If the police are called, the player has five minutes to dispose of the corpse. Unless she is able to bathe herself in the girls' Shower Room, dispose of her bloody uniform, and dispose of the murder weapon, she will be linked to the murder and arrested by the police. The School Atmosphere will be lowered if she does not dispose of the corpse, or if the death is determined to be a homicide and the killer is not apprehended. If she frames another student or rival for the murder and they are apprehended, the School Atmosphere will not be affected.
If the player disposes of the corpse without anyone noticing it, the police will not be called, but failure to clean up other incriminating evidence will lead to lower School Atmosphere.
Bodies can be hidden in dumpsters (currently only fake suicide victims), bathroom stalls, lockers, the sarcophagus and the treasure chest in the Foreign Studies Room, and in the freezer box in the Biology Lab. If the corpse is not hidden and the protagonist goes to class, the corpse will be discovered, a police investigation will occur, and the day will end.
Hiding corpses is only a temporary solution, as they will still be found at the end of the day unless they are disposed of.
Disposal Methods[]
There are currently six ways to permanently dispose of a corpse: through the dumpster (only available through pushing off roof),[1] through burning in the incinerator or in the kiln, through the wood chipper, through dissolving in the vat of acid, through the sewer, and through feeding it to the carnivorous plant (only available after feeding the plant growth stimulant for five days). There is also the vegetable garden for burying bodies, but this was always meant to be a temporary method. So far, only fake suicide victims can be disposed of through dumpsters. The player must cover their body with a garbage bag. To dispose of a corpse through the incinerator, she must dump the body inside and activate it. If any student is killed on the rooftop, she can dump their body from the roof from the east or west sides and bring it to the incinerator.

Trivia[]
- The corpses follow a ragdoll animation, which will sometimes break and cause the corpses to stretch and glitch while they are being dragged. YandereDev is well aware of this problem and will not respond to any bug reports about them.
- Any student who is killed with a ritual knife will emit grey mist.
- Originally, corpses weren't going to be able to be hidden in lockers as Japanese lockers are too small.[2]
- In the future, the player may be able to report corpses to a teacher, but this will cause the day to end, so the player will miss any important events that take place during the rest of the school day.[3]
- As of February 19th, 2021 Build, it is now possible for the player to report corpses to a teacher.
- In the future, the protagonist may earn cash from looting corpses.[4]
- As of June 1st, 2021 Build, a student that found to be dead will result the flower vase put in their desk who were dead.
- In the future, if a teacher discovers a corpse, there may be a PA announcement about their discovery.[5]
- As of February 19th, 2021 Build, if even a single corpse is discovered, then it will drastically lower the school atmosphere and slowly add security cameras and metal detectors, due to YandereDev noticing gameplays of players not disposing the corpse too much so he will most likely add it to balance it out and punish players who don't dispose them.[6]
- YandereDev says a feature that could be implemented in the game include the deceased becoming a ghost "if they knew they were being murdered at the time of their death".[7]
