Chikao Tsurumaki is one of the male students who attended Akademi in 1980s Mode.
Appearance[]
Current[]
Chikao has collar-length red hair with two strands sticking out on either side on the back. His bangs reach his eyes and almost completely cover his eyebrows. His eyes are olive green and he has freckles on his cheeks and nose.
He wears the default 1980s uniform along with a dark grey apron with flower petals drawn on it.
Previous[]
Before the October 21st, 2024 build, he had short brown hair with a short ahoge sticking out on top and navy blue eyes.
Personality[]
Mocked by his peers for having 'feminine' interests, such as cooking. Strongly believes that neither gender should feel excluded from pursuing whatever they are passionate about.
Among the personas that are currently implemented in the game, Chikao is a Snitch. If he sees a corpse or witnesses a murder, he will run to the landline phone in the Faculty Room and call the police. He cannot participate in physical fights against murderers.
Routine[]

At 7:00 AM, Chikao enters the school grounds. He walks to his locker at 7:05 AM and changes from his outdoor shoes to his indoor shoes. At 7:15 AM, he walks to the Cooking Club on the first floor and will prepare some food there. Then he travels around the school to give the food to various students.
At 8:00 AM, he walks to Classroom 2-1 and sits at his desk. He starts his morning classes at 8:30 AM, and leaves to go back to the Cooking Club at 1:00 PM to eat lunch with the rest of the club members.
He walks back to class again at 1:30 PM and participates in cleaning time between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. During cleaning time, he can be seen cleaning windows inside Classroom 2-1.
Afterwards, he heads to the Cooking Club and stays there until the end of the day.
If the Cooking Club is disbanded, Chikao will socialize with the other former members in the Home Ec Room during periods in which he would normally attend it.
Week 9[]
During Week 9, he follows Chigusa Busujima along with other male students around Akademi, making it harder for Ryoba Aishi to kill her without a witness.

- His name, Chikao, can be written as "circuit, man" (周夫), "pioneer, genuine" (親生), or "one thousand, two-branched tree, man" (千禾夫)
- The "tsuru" part of his surname, Tsurumaki, can be written as "crane" (鶴) or "bowstring" (弦), while the "maki" part is a suffix in Japanese surnames which means "roll" (巻).
- Chikao was given Kagemori Takagi's hairstyle in the 1980's Revamp Update.
