Betrayal is a non-lethal elimination method found in Yandere Simulator.
This elimination method involves performing a rival's task to put her in the protagonist's debt and then betraying her at the last moment.
Betraying Osana[]
During the cutscene that plays between Ayano and Osana, the player decides if they should give the rival normal or drugged tea. This option will only be available for a few seconds. If the player misses this opportunity, she will only be befriended, instead of being betrayed.

When Q is pressed, the protagonist will give Osana the drugged tea. The protagonist smiles at her before she falls asleep. A cutscene will then play with Osana in the basement. If the player goes down to their basement the next day, she will be tied to a chair.

During the cutscene that plays between Ayano and Amai, the player decides if they should give the rival normal or drugged tea. This option will only be available for a few seconds. If the player misses this opportunity, she will only be befriended, instead of being betrayed.

When Q is pressed, the protagonist will give the rival the drugged tea. The protagonist smiles at her before she falls asleep. A cutscene will then play with the rival in the basement. If the player goes down to their basement the next day, she will be tied to a chair.

After returning from abandoned asylum, the player can decide if they should give the rival normal or drugged tea. This option will only be available for a few seconds. Unlike 202X mode, there's no time limit.

Betraying Kokona[]
This option will only be available for a few seconds. If the player misses this opportunity, Kokona will only be befriended, instead of being betrayed.
When F is pressed, the screen will fade to black with Kokona screaming in shock. If the player goes down to their basement the next day, Kokona will be tied to a chair.
