Beika Odayaka (neé unknown) is the mother of Amai Odayaka and a minor character in Yandere Simulator in 202X.

Appearance

Beika has wavy, shoulder-length, light brown hair that's longer than her daughters', as it falls beyond her shoulders, and her bangs extend past her eyes.

She wears a peach off-the-shoulder blouse, a long brown skirt, a white apron around her waist, and brown high-heels. She also wears small red heart-shaped earrings.

Previous

Before August 4th, 2025 build, in Amai's suicide cutscene, Beika had the same body model as Mrs. Okada, but squashed.

In her first appearance, Beika had the same hair model as her daughter, albeit dirty blonde, and wore a forehead kerchief. She also had red eyes, red blush, and red lipstick.

In her second appearance, Beika had a different hair model than her daughter, but still very similar to her old one. Her hair became darker and thicker, her eyes were changed to green, she didn't have blush, and her lipstick was changed to pink lip gloss.

Personality

Beika is kind and gentle, just like Amai. Together with her husband, Shefu, they are very sweet and friendly, both in public and in person, and just genuinely wholesome folks.

Background

Beika was born somewhere before the events of 1980s Mode. She most likely didn't attend Akademi, as her passion isn't something that requires an extremely prestigious education, so she wouldn't have pursued an expensive, high-end education at a famous school. At some point in her life, she met and married Shefu, and in the late 1990s or the early 2000s, they started the bakery together out of a shared love for baking.

In the late 2000s, when she was around her 20s, she first gave birth to her first daughter, Satoko, whom Amai mentioned on her Sai-Press post. Beika then gave birth to her second and final daughter, Amai.

Her bakery has been open for 2 generations.

Gameplay

Beika is not fully seen anywhere in the game, except for Amai's suicide cutscene. She calls Amai on the Second Week's Monday, to tell her that there were rats in their bakery's kitchen. Afterwards, she's mentioned during Befriending, Betrayal, and Matchmaking eliminations.

As of the second February 1st, 2025 build, Beika, along with her husband, appears on promotional signages for the school bake sale during Week 2.

Before May 1st, 2024, Beika could be seen in Buraza Town, standing at the counter in the Odayaka bakery. She was located beyond the accessible boundaries of the player and thus non-interactive.

Beika loves her husband and two daughters. The surname Odayaka comes from her husband.

Dark Delights Bakery

Rei is behind numerous different illegal activities in the Odayaka Bakery (such as rats appearing before a health inspection). However, neither Beika nor Amai can get proof of this.

• Currently, YandereDev's personal name for her is "Beika" (ベイカー), which is a Japanese pronunciation for the word "Baker", but since he knows that some people hate his pun names, he may find a different name for her.
