Amai Challenge

Amai Challenge is no longer in the game.
You can only find this challenge in the Builds between December 22nd, 2020 and April 16th, 2024.

The Amai Challenge was a challenge added in the December 22nd, 2020 build and removed on May 1st, 2024 due to the addition of a full second week, which was a challenge to eliminate Amai Odayaka. It became available only after eliminating Osana.

Since the March 15th, 2024 build, it lost most of its functionality due to the development of a full-fledged Amai week.

Gameplay

The challenge can be enabled by watching the final cutscenes of the first week and then pressing the "R" button in the game calendar.

The challenge will occur on the first day of the second game week. Osana has already been eliminated, so Senpai's attention is now focused on the second opponent, Amai Odayaka. Amai, along with the rest of the Cooking Club, will sell their baked goods and socialize with other students in the school plaza.

The routine of all Akademi students will be changed to another one. During the day, some Akademi students will socialize in separate pairs or groups united by common interests. They will be located in different parts of the school:

• Near the main entrance to the school (a little further from the doors: Horuda Puresu and Kuu Dere, near the doors: Otohiko Meichi and Kyuji Konagawa);
• Near the lockers (Hazu Kashibuchi and Toga Tabara);
• Near the drama club premises (Drama Club members);
• Near the faculty room (Art Club members);
• Near the southern entrance to the school plaza (Gaming Club members);
• In the school plaza (Cooking Club members);
• Outside Classroom 1-1 (Kashiko Murasaki, Musume Ronshaku, and Hana Daidaiyama);
• On the west stairs on the first floor (Kokoro Momoiro and Hoshiko Mizudori);
• Near the sewing room (Occult Club members);
• In front of west doors from the back of Akademi (Photography Club members);
• On the southeastern wing of the Rooftop (Osana Najimi and Raibaru Fumetsu).

Students occasionally go to the Cooking Club's baking table and return to their groups. This will continue until classes start or it's time to clean up.

The incinerator is out of order during the challenge, so Ayano must dispose of Amai's corpse in other ways, such as throwing it down the drain, dissolving it in the Science Club, burying it, or shredding it in the Gardening Club.

Ayano's main objective in this mode is to kill Amai without any witnesses and also to dispose of her corpse without being noticed. Ayano cannot eliminate her via matchmaking, befriend/betray, or kidnapping, as Amai cannot be spoken to.

The challenge can be failed for the following reasons:

• If Ayano kills Amai in front of students, teachers, or Senpai;
• If the students, teachers, or Senpai notice Ayano's strange behavior.

Press the "~" key to restart the challenge if you fail it.

Trivia

• Before the December 23rd, 2020 build, Ayano could talk to Amai. This was a bug.
• In the October 1st, 2022 build, completing this challenge will unlock the corresponding achievement.
• In the August 23rd, 2023 build, a debug command was added on the calendar screen, after pressing the "A" key 10 times, this challenge will be activated.
