You can help the Yandere Simulator Wiki by killing it.
The Aishi House is the main spawn and safe area where the protagonist can perform several activities that are unavailable at Akademi.
Overview[]
The protagonist, Osana Najimi, Amai Odayaka and all 10 Rivals in 1980s Mode (Sonoko Sakanoue canonically), are currently the only characters in Yandere Simulator who willingly come here during gameplay. Off screen, Jokichi Yudasei was also there. In older builds, Kokona Haruka also came here.
Kitchen[]
The kitchen is a room in the home. There is a kitchen island with six chairs around a table and a wooden countertop with a large refrigerator. There is a plate of fruit on the counter.
The ability to cook was added in the August 5th, 2024 Build, but it is not functional yet. YandereDev says that the buffs will be additive, and not multiplicative.[1]
The options for food and its prices Ayano can pick in the morning include:
Meal | Cost Of Ingredients |
---|---|
Rice Bowl | $0.50 |
Nori | $0.60 |
Tsukemono | $0.70 |
Tamago Kake Gohan | $0.80 |
Tofu | $1.00 |
Miso Soup | $1.20 |
Tamogoyaki | $1.50 |
Onigiri | $2.00 |
Yogurt with Fruit | $3.00 |
Grilled Fish | $4.00 |
Living Room[]
The wooden floors are wood, and the walls are beige. There are two dark brown couches in the living room, one larger than the other, which surround a khaki coffee table. On the table there's a TV remote. A TV and a potted plant are located in the top right corner. There is a couch with a bathroom[2] behind, an end table with a vase on it, and a bookshelf. There is a photo of Ayano's parents on the shelf behind the couch. The books are a result of Ayano's family members collecting them over the years.[3]
In 202X Mode, Ayano Aishi has the option to ask Osana Najimi to visit her living room in order to either befriend or betray Osana. This all happens in a partly interactive cutscene. Amai can be befriended or betrayed in the same way as Osana, except for the fact that her cutscene is a visual novel.
In 1980s Mode, Ryoba Aishi can ask her rivals over for some tea, as well as prove to them that she has burned the photos, but the cutscene is told via text and not an actual cutscene similar to 202X Mode.
Second Floor Hallway[]
- Main article: Mirror
The hallway on the second floor has cream beige walls with a grey-white ceiling and plank flooring. The majority of the floor is covered by a rug with a black, white, grey and beige-grey square and rectangle pattern. There are WIP
Before the November 15th, 2024 build, the mirror was found on the right side of Ayano's room if the player chose to exit and explore her room.
In 202X, the rooms in this hallway are not in use, they have different purposes. In 1989, Ryoba's Sister occupied the room down the hall. The other rooms in this hallway goes as follows: bathroom, parents' room and grandparents' room.[2]
There is an interactive mirror for Ayano to customize her own hairstyle. The mirror is above a big, dark brown oak vanity with one border in a full and half size, two drawers, and four semi-thick legs. The mirror rests perfectly on the middle of the wall, with dark gold decoration on the top and bottom dark brown frame of the mirror. The mirror is manually disabled regardless if the player has their settings for the mirror enabled or disabled.
As of the November 15th, 2024 build, Ayano is able to customize her own hair using the mirror without the use of Easter Eggs. With the options of 11 bangs, 10 ponytails, 5 strands (also called sidelocks), and 1 braid option. When the mirror is interacted with, the physics in her hair will automatically be disabled and the music in the menu cannot be disabled with the keyboard command. The latter issues will be fixed in a future build. Also, certain combinations of hair can result in Ayano having a "bald spot" on her head, for which YandereDev says he plans to fix "at some indeterminate point in time in the future." There are also reports of players noticing Ayano's head being bald when they loaded into school.
As of the November 18th, 2024, physics for the new hairstyles have been applied, and the player can revert back to Ayano's default hair model if they do not want a custom hair. The player is also able to change her hairstyle if she dyes her hair blonde. Also, certain combinations of hair that previously showed "bald spots" on Ayano's head were adjusted to be less visible, but can still be noticeable.
There are over 500 options of a hairstyle that the player can customize for Ayano.
Bedroom[]
Gameplay[]
The bedroom is the main spawn point for the protagonist, regardless of the timeline.
In the morning, the protagonist has the option to skip school by going to her bed, change her panties via her drawer/closet, view the items in the Senpai Shrine, or interact with her door. With her door, she can visit Buraza Town, go to the Basement, or take an object/weapon to school with her. If she uses the item at Akademi, there will be no option to take it again to the same location the next day.
The 10 current items from the middle menu the player can bring to school in the morning include:

The 9 weapons the player can bring to Akademi via a Duffel Bag include:
The Screwdriver, Hammer, Pipe Wrench, Axe, Shovel, Pickaxe, Crowbar, Sledgehammer, and the Scythe. The Chainsaw is technically an option, however, it is not implemented in the game yet.
In the night, the protagonist has the option to read manga, complete part-time jobs to earn money, visit the location of the rival's antagonist, play video games, or go to sleep.
If the protagonist kidnaps a victim, she will immediately go to sleep after lugging the musical case from school to her home. This also applies to working a part-time job in Buraza Town, reading manga, and succeeding in the mission for the befriend/betray location.
Both protagonists have a shrine in their room, which includes multiple items that belonged to their Senpai. Such items include a picture of him, an apple he has bitten into, a bandage used by him, his toothbrush, boxers, chewed gum, pencil, hair, a button from his uniform, a bento box, and a soda can. It is located in the southeastern corner of the room. In 202X Mode, Ayano has to collect items to furnish her shrine, while in 1980s Mode, Ryoba already has all of the items.
Panties give certain boosts throughout a school day, except for the White Panties, as they are equipped by default. The other panties can be bought from the lingerie store, except for one, which is hidden somewhere in one of Akademi's Zen Gardens.
In the morning, if the protagonist uses her bed and skips school, she will lose 20 reputation points. If she tortures someone in the morning, the following variables will happen depending on the amount of torture she decides to do:
- If she tortures a student for 1 hour in the morning, she will go to school 1 hour late but will not lose any reputation.
- If she tortures a student for 4 hours in the night, she will immediately go to sleep and wake up on time.
- If she tortures a student for 12 hours, she will skip school in the morning, and she will have an option to do her nighttime activities.
- If she tortures a student for 18 hours in the morning, she will skip the entire school day and evening to torture the girl, then the protagonist will go to sleep afterward.
202X Mode[]
The bedroom is the starting location for Ayano Aishi.
Ayano's bedroom is rectangular in shape. The walls in her room are a shade of cream, the ceiling is an off-white, the flooring is made of a light wooden board while the baseboard, the cornices, the door, the door casing and the window casing all share the same shade of dark brown. In the center of the ceiling is a large dome-shaped light and below it on the floor is a white square rug with a gray trim and dotted pattern.
Ayano's bed is located in the southwest corner of the room with the bedhead against the west wall pointed towards the east, her bed is a double with a blanket and two pillows are a faded blue with white polka-dots, a long white pillow with blue polka-dots with a light wood frame.
The west wall of the room has a centered double window with curtains that share the same material as her blanket along with a wooden tv stand that shelves two electronics, a potted plant, a tv and a SaikouStation 4 where Ayano can play Video Games. There is an air conditioner mounted to the north west side of the wall.
In the northwest corner of the room is a wooden desk that has two drawers underneath the right side with a standard computer set up on the desk where Ayano can use her computer, beside the desk is tall wooden shelf housing different anime boxsets on each shelf where Ayano can watch Anime. The east side of the north wall is Ayano's corkboard that the she can interact with.
The door to Ayano's room is located on the north side of the east wall, beside the door is a light switch and a poster for the anime Life Note, centered with the east wall is a wooden dresser with a modern design, two drawers, a collection of Manga, a potted plant and an alarm clock, these items are placed on a dresser where Ayano can change her panties. In the south east corner of the room is Ayano's Senpai Shrine placed atop a wooden display stand made of wood with metallic supports and a cloth laid across it sharing the same pattern as the rug on the floor.
In the morning, Ayano has the option to watch an episode of Life Note about Electrocution via the Drinking Fountains, post and arrange pictures with a red string on her Corkboard or walk around her house. If she decides to walk around her house, she can read her mother's postcard, go to the backyard to bring carrots or weapons to school, or eat food.
In the night, Ayano has the option to use her computer to purchase uniforms or hair dye, spread rumors about her rival, talk to Selene2005 on Yancord, or stalk someone to learn about their conversational topics on Stokr. Ayano also has the option to go to:
- The Stalker's House (Week 1 only, must befriend Osana)
- Dark Delights Bakery (Week 2 only, must befriend Amai)
to befriend/betray her rival.
Videogames Ayano can play on her SaikouStation 4[4] include Magical Girl Pretty Miyuki and Yanvania: Senpai of the Night. The latter game can only be accessed by asking Pippi Osu for her task and accepting it.
1980s Mode[]
The bedroom is the starting location for Ryoba Aishi.
(DETAILS OF APPEARANCE)
In the night, Ryoba has the option to go to Karlheinz Asylum to complete her mission to befriend/betray her rival of the week. Ryoba must befriend her rival first before she can go to the asylum. She can also visit the yakuza at night if she befriended his brother. However, if the latter is deceased or has gone missing, the Yakuza will no longer appear in the alleyway.
Unlike her daughter, Ryoba has Sundays to herself, which means she will be there, standing in her pajamas, instead of her school uniform. This gives Ryoba an extra day to read manga, earn money, shop in Buraza Town, or skip to the night.
Basement[]
- Main article: Basement
One purpose of the basement is to hold students who have been kidnapped. The protagonist can torture the kidnapped student so that she can use them as a mind slave. Basement Tapes are also located here under the boxes and can be pickable after kidnapping a student. In older builds, after kidnapping Musume Ronshaku, a camera would appear which could only be used during nighttime, it was part of befriending Kokona Haruka. The camera will still appear with the help of bugs. By interacting with the stairs, Ayano/Ryoba can choose to go to school (daytime only), go to town, go upstairs to her bedroom (if Ayano opened the door, then to living room), go to a Part-Time Job (nighttime only), go to the Stalkers House (nighttime only, 202X Mode, must befriend Osana), or go to the Dark Delights Bakery (nighttime only, 202X Mode, must befriend Amai).
The basement was added by Ryoba's grandmother, or Ayano's great-grandmother, for her daughter after the latter asked her mother for a location in the house where she could kidnap her Senpai and mind-break him.[5] Ryoba's entire family does know the existence and the purpose of the basement[5]
Backyard[]
The Backyard is the exterior of the house. It is made up of a small garden, where carrots, flowers, and other plants are grown. It also has a small shed, tables and chairs, and a wood chipper in the corner.
The carrots can be taken to school in a Duffel Bag to complete Kenko Sukoyaka's task. However, Ayano has to accept his task first before the option to take the carrots will be made available.
Shed[]
The shed in the Aishi household has a duffle bag where Hardware equipment are stored in. These items will only appear if Ayano buys them in the Hardware Store in Buraza Town. These items are: Screwdriver, Hammer, Pipe Wrench, Axe, Shovel, Pickaxe, Crowbar, Sledgehammer, Scythe, and Chainsaw.
Trivia[]
You can help the Yandere Simulator Wiki by rewriting, or adding the information into the appropriate place.
- As of April 15, 2024, it is now possible to exit Ayano's bedroom and explore the house more. According to YandereDev, he wanted Ryoba Aishi to leave a note/postcard for every week. Notifying Ayano how her parents are.
- No matter what graphical setting the player changes the game to before launching it, the room will always look the same and have the same amount of frame blend, lighting, etc. This may be a bug.
- Previously, Kokona Haruka was able to visit as well, but she is no longer a rival as of the release of the demo.
- The police will not search Ayano Aishi's house to find a missing girl.[6]
- There may not be more rooms added unless there is a "gameplay-related" purpose for doing so.[7]
- The window in the intro of 202X Mode looks very similar to Ryoba's bedroom window.
- The design of house was changed in the May 1st build of the game.
- In the future, YandereDev may make it possible to allow Ryoba to leave her bedroom.[8] However, three factors would be different than leaving Ayano's bedroom:
- Ryoba's bedroom door wouldn't open, the screen would fade to black in her bedroom then fade back in with Ryoba in the hallway.[8]
- There are no character models or animations for her family members, so the player would be unable to see them.[8]
- Because Ryoba's sister wouldn't be visible in 1989, she would stay in her room, and Ryoba would only talk to her through the door. Her only appearance would be made if her game is ever made.[9]
- Another way to see the characters is to walk up to a door, knock on it, and hear a response from a family member who is on the other side of the door. They would just have subtitles, no voice acting.[8]
- The house is currently owned by Ayano's parents, as her grandparents and great-grandparents moved out once Ryoba and Jokichi married.[10]
- In early 2015, Ayano could change her uniform in her room. Different school uniforms were used to give boosts, similar to panties. They were eventually removed as uniforms are now customized before you start a new game.
- Ayano's computer runs on SaikouOS.[11]
- Ayano's computer may have more functions depending on budget.[12]
- There is a possibility of pajama parties, presumably in Ayano's bedroom.[13]
- Before the demo builds, it was possible to edit Ayano's hairstyle appearance at home.
- Aside from Ayano's ponytail, the only hairstyles that can be worn in the bedroom are the original hairstyles of the "Rainbow 6" girls (Which you can wear by pressing "H").
- No matter what hairstyle the player chose in Ayano's bedroom, it would always reset when Ayano arrived at school.
- The player may be able to customize Ayano's pajamas, but it is not a high priority for YandereDev at the moment.[14]
- Before the Demo build of Yandere Simulator, the player had the option to click the "~" key to change the setting of the room, from daytime to nighttime, and vice versa.
- The original model used for the first appearance of the bedroom was store bought, and the second model is a MikuMikuDance stage ripped from the adult game 3D Custom Girl by MMD3DCGParts on DeviantArt.[15]
- The player cannot change the protagonist's bust size inside her bedroom.
- The corkboard in Ayano's bedroom is purely for immersion and does not affect gameplay in any sort.
- Magical Girl Pretty Miyuki was added in the September 1st, 2018 build.
- Before the Demo build, Ayano used to be able to kidnap Musume Ronshaku, film her begging and pleading, send the ransom video to her father, and free Kokona from the debt. This was used to either befriend or betray Kokona. However, it is no longer functional and does not appear in the basement of the Aishi House anymore.
- The video camera was mounted on a large black tripod that was located in the basement. It had the ability to record things in front of it.
- The first sneak peek of the camera was shown on the blog post, May Preview # 1.[16] It showed Ayano standing by the camera and a second screenshot of what the video camera was currently looking at.
- The camera was modeled by Druelbozo.[17]
- The camera can be activated through Pose Mode by kgftbz, it shouldn't be confused with Pose Mode easter egg.
- The living room was first shown in a blog post sneak peek called "May Preview #3 and Delay Explanation".[18] It was implemented in the June 1st, 2016 Build.
- The old living room model was taken from an MMD stage.[19]
- Ayano's bedroom was occupied by her aunt in 1989.
