Aishi House Gallery

This article is for Aishi House. Were you looking for their family?

The Aishi House is the main spawn and safe area where the protagonist can perform several activities that are unavailable at Akademi, or anywhere else.

Overview[]

The protagonist, Osana Najimi, Amai Odayaka and all 10 Rivals in 1980s Mode (Sonoko Sakanoue canonically), are currently the only characters in Yandere Simulator who willingly come here during gameplay. In older builds, Kokona Haruka also came here. If the player completes the Genocide Ending in either mode, Taro Yamada or Jokichi Yudasei will appear in the basement. He will be tied to the chair with two white blindfolds on his eyes and mouth, and will be seen struggling.

Ayano's parents currently own the house, as her maternal grandparents and great-grandparents moved out once Ryoba and Jokichi married.[1]

Exterior[]

Aishi House Entrance

The entrance to the house.

The exterior of the house is not completely done, as there are still some missing rooms and construction that YandereDev has yet to add. The exterior of the house includes an antique white painting on the walls, with some flint gray metal as the outline. The roof appears slanted, starting from the end of the hallway from the second floor (where Ayano's bedroom is) to near the staircase. The windows on the second floor are elongated and rectangular, which cannot be seen through.

The garage area is empty, with bricked flooring in light gray. There are also shade protectors seen throughout the backyard and garage spot, although no cloth or type of material is seen on top of the metal pillars. It is an open area of the house. The house also has two entrances, one that leads to the backyard, and another that leads to the living room. The backyard entrance is slightly elevated, and gated by a hedge entrance and a black, curved gate. The living room entrance includes a small waiting area with a dark gray patio chair, a big potted plant, and pillars surrounded by objects with a gated window in the middle. Although it is found in the Garden, a big, cherry tree can be seen protruding above the hedge fence.

Living Room[]

The wooden floors are planking colored in wood, and the walls are beige. There are two dark brown couches with white cushions in the living room, one longer than the other, which surround a khaki coffee table. The couch near the bookshelf is behind a door with multiple rooms.[2] such as the parents and grandparents rooms.[3] Next to the door is an end table with a white vase and a framed portrait of Ayano's parents on it. To the right of the end table, there is a bookshelf that conceals a door behind, which leads to the basement. On the table is a TV remote. A TV and a potted plant are located in the top right corner. The books are a result of Ayano's family members collecting them over the years.[4]

In 202X Mode, Ayano Aishi has the option to ask Osana Najimi to visit her living room to either befriend or betray Osana. This all happens in a partly interactive cutscene. Amai can be befriended or betrayed in the same way as Osana, except for the fact that her cutscene is told through a visual novel. In 1980s Mode, Ryoba Aishi can ask her rivals over for some tea, as well as prove to them that she has burned the photos, but the cutscene is told via text and not shown through an actual cutscene similar to 202X Mode.

In 1980s Mode, Sureibu and Dozuki Aishi are seen sitting on the same couch, closest to the window. Dozuki is reading a book, while Sureibu sits to her left and stares down at his lap.

Kitchen & Dining Room[]

The area is a fusion between the kitchen and the small dining area, divided by an open wall with one light switch. The flooring of the fusion room is khaki planking with beige walls that have a birch brown trim. The two fused rooms are slightly lower than the living room.

The kitchen is relatively small, with a U-shaped size and a huge kitchen peninsula creating a barrier between itself and the dining area. The kitchen has multiple circular ceiling lights in gray outlines, being placed on a white ceiling. Starting from the right, there is a congo brown oak cabinet with old copper outlines and elongated silver handles. A silver SAIKOU double-door fridge with dark gray handles and a small black screen with some text on the display, where money is hidden (only during Week 2). A white marble counter with brown cabinets that have elongated silver handles. On the counter includes a black electric stove and a dark gray hood with a black control panel above.

Tea Set (1)

The floating wall cabinets include two small cabinet doors, and a tri-layered shelved cabinet with a tea set that has a white ceramic base, sakura petals in terra cotta, and a camel yellow bamboo handle with eight cups painted similarly. There is a block of cabinet in a dark horizontal pattern above the wall cabinets and below the electric stove, but it is unknown if it is for decoration or hidden storage. Across the kitchen area includes the kitchen peninsula, which has a white marble pattern and three brown double-doored cabinets. There is a dark silver sink near the entrance, and an angled wooden cutting board on the right, between two power sockets. The marble counter also has minorly raised walls, with some small beige pillars and a fruit bowl containing money (only during Week 1).

The dining area includes the small white marble surfaced dining peninsula with three curved seated wooden stools tucked under, one light switch and three power sockets. Behind the dining peninsula includes a tan wooden dinner table with six gray cushioned chairs and a small white diamond-shaped table topper with tassels and an apple blossom red line as the design. There are some handleless drawers next to the table, with two floating shelves above. One of the shelves includes a marble potted plant, which overflows and drapes itself on the dresser. There is a glass sliding door that leads to the backyard, with lavender-gray tie-up valance curtains that decorate the bare glass doors.

Post-Amai_Cutscene

Post-Amai Cutscene

The ability to cook was added in the August 5th, 2024 Build, and Ayano can cook, but the function of actually cooking and getting a benefit from it is not functional yet. YandereDev says that the buffs will be additive, and not multiplicative.[5] There are 10 meal options that Ayano Aishi can select. Additionally, as of the March 15th, 2025 build, during Week 2 on Sunday, Ayano will be in the kitchen, chopping cucumbers and sliding them into a bowl. She mutters a few lines about how Amai made it look easy, and then redirects her attention to a portrait of her Senpai.

In 1980s Mode, Ryoba can speak to Kataba Aishi, who is chopping vegetables at the countertop.

Second Floor[]

Main article: Mirror

The hallway on the second floor has cream-beige walls with a gray-white ceiling and plank flooring. The majority of the floor is covered by a rug in multiple a black, white, gray and beige-gray square and rectangle pattern. There are 3 dark brown wood doors on this floor, with light yellow-gold handles. In 202X, the rooms in this hallway are not in use, they have different purposes. In 1989, Ryoba's Sister occupied the room down the hall, which was Ayano's bedroom in 202X Mode.[6] The room across Ayano's is the bathroom, and the room across the staircase was Ryoba Aishi's room.[7]

There are multiple potted plants seen throughout the hallway, which are well maintained. There is a beige dresser with four drawers, two empty single-levelled shelves and light gray handles. A disorganized stack of books and a small potted plant can be seen on this table, with a black framed painting hung above the dresser.

There are two vanities on this floor, one near the left of Ayano's room, and another that is across the staircase. The vanity near the staircase is interactive, as Ayano can customize her hairstyle. The mirror is above a big, dark brown oak vanity with one border in a full and half size, two drawers, and four semi-thick legs. The mirror has dark gold decoration on the top and bottom dark brown frame of the mirror. The reflection of the mirror is manually disabled regardless if the player has their settings for reflective mirrors enabled or disabled. Before the November 15th, 2024 build, there was only one mirror, which was found on the left side, where the exit of Ayano's room was if the player chose to leave and explore the house. The same mirror can still be found there, but it cannot be used to customize Ayano's hair.

AishiHomeMirror

As of the November 15th, 2024 build, Ayano can customize her hair using the mirror without the use of Easter Eggs. There are the options of 11 bangs, 10 ponytails, 5 strands (also called sidelocks), and 1 braid. In the aforementioned build, when the mirror was interacted with, the physics in her hair would automatically be disabled and the player had to restart the day if they wanted to revert to Ayano's original hairstyle. Certain combinations of the hair resulted in Ayano having a "bald spot" on her head. There have been reports of players who noticed Ayano's head being bald when they loaded into school.

As of the November 18th, 2024 build, physics for the new hairstyles have been applied, and the player can revert to Ayano's default hair model if they do not want custom hair. The player is also able to change her hairstyle if she dyes her hair blonde. Also, certain combinations of hair that previously showed "bald spots" on Ayano's head were adjusted to be less visible, but can still be noticeable. As of now, going to Buraza Town will result in Ayano's default hair appearing instead of her custom one. There are over 500 options for a hairstyle that the player can customize for Ayano.

In the night, the protagonist has the option to read manga, complete part-time jobs to earn money, visit the location of the rival's antagonist, play video games, or go to sleep.

If the protagonist kidnaps a victim, she will immediately go to sleep after lugging the musical case from school to her home. This also applies to working a part-time job in Buraza Town, reading manga, and succeeding in the mission for the befriend/betray location.

The protagonist has a shrine in her room, which includes multiple items that belonged to her Senpai. The shrine's Persian plum base includes some trim in old gold and two small double doors with tiny round handles. Items found in the shrine can include a picture of her senpai, an apple he has bitten into, a bandage used by him, his toothbrush, boxers, chewed gum, pencil, hair, a button from his uniform, a bento box, and a soda can. It is located in the southeastern corner of the room. In 202X Mode, Ayano has to collect items to furnish her shrine. While in 1980s Mode, Ryoba already has all of the items.

Panties give certain boosts throughout a school day, except for the White Panties, as they are equipped by default. The other panties can be bought from the lingerie store, except for one, which is hidden in the East Japanese Garden.

In the morning, if the protagonist uses her bed and skips school, she will lose 20 reputation points. If she tortures someone in the morning, the following variables will happen depending on the amount of torture she decides to do:

GeijuKidnapped

Geiju Tsuburaya held hostage.

  • If the protagonist tortures her victim for 1 hour in the morning, she will go to school 1 hour late but will not lose any reputation.
  • If she tortures her victim for 4 hours in the night, she will immediately go to sleep and wake up on time.
  • If she tortures her victim for 12 hours, she will skip school in the morning, and she will have an option to do her nighttime activities.
  • If she tortures her victim for 18 hours in the morning, she will skip the entire school day and evening to torture them, then the protagonist will go to sleep afterward.
202X Mode

Ayano Aishi's bedroom includes plain, beige walls and ceiling with a small dark brown trim on the floor and ceiling. Her flooring has sand yellow planks, covered by a carpet with a seashell white base and a granite gray dotted curved diamond pattern. There is a window in her room with a taupe brown frame, and silver blue curtains being held by a curved gray rod. The light source in her room is a round, modern bulb with a silver lining.

Her room is simple, tidy, and not overly decorated. There is a wooden beige bed with three gray single-handle drawers, pillows, and a gray goose polka dot blanket. Technology is also commonly found in this room, as she has a TV stand on the left side of her room, which has a small potted plant, a flat-screen TV with an idle handheld controller, a SaikouStation 4, and other miscellaneous machinery. Across the bed includes a desk with a computer with a small wheel-able chair, and a small bookshelf, holding some unknown series. To the right of the desk includes a plain corkboard, and an interactable door. The right side of her room includes a gray flip light switch, a Life Note poster, a table with neatly aligned manga, a white potted plant, a digital alarm, and a small drawer which contains panties. There is also a shrine held by a small end table with a tablecloth that has the same texture as the carpet.

In the morning, Ayano has the option to watch an episode of Life Note about Electrocution via the Drinking Fountains or walk around her house. If she decides to walk around her house, she can read her mother's postcard, go to the backyard to bring carrots/weapons to school, or eat food.

In the night, Ayano has the option to use her computer to purchase uniforms or hair dye, spread rumors about her rival, talk to Selene2005 on Yancord, or stalk someone to learn about their conversational topics on Stokr. Ayano also has the option to go to the Stalker's House (Week 1 only, must befriend Osana) or Dark Delights Bakery (Week 2 only, must befriend Amai) to befriend/betray her rival.

Ayano can play video games on her SaikouStation 4, including Magical Girl Pretty Miyuki and Yanvania: Senpai of the Night. The latter game can only be accessed by asking Pippi Osu for her task and accepting it. Ayano's computer can be used to stalk her fellow peers, purchase items on Nozama, talk to Selene2005 on YanCord, or post about her rival's embarrassing secrets on Kaobook. She can also post and arrange pictures on her Corkboard, using red string.

Ryoba Aishi's bedroom is located in a different room than her daughter's is located. Ryoba's bedroom is found across the staircase.[7] Her room has diagonal dark sand planks as the flooring, with maize colored walls and ceiling that have a tobacco brown trim. Her Baja white carpet with slightly dark-shaped lines covers half of the room. The light source in Ryoba's room is lantern-shaped with light mint and tan colors. Similarly to her daughter's room, Ryoba's room is neat, tidy and not overly decorated.

RyobasBedroomLight

The left side of Ryoba's room includes her brown bed with a light olive polka dot blanket and three pillows, a French beige in-wall closet, and a senpai shrine upheld by a dull brown end table in the corner. Above the bed, two posters are not aligned with one another. The north side of her room has two aligned posters with a bay window bench that is decorated with small light colored pillows, potted plants, and tie-up valance curtains in light gray-green. The bench below also has a pale brown drawer set, with six drawers that have gray looped handles. On the right side of Ryoba's room includes a brown door with a silver knob, a gray flip light switch, a tv stand with a plugged-in block tv, a potted plant, a gaming console, and a small bookshelf with neatly rowed manga.

In the night, Ryoba has the option to go to Karlheinz Asylum to complete her mission to befriend/betray her rival of the week. Ryoba must befriend her rival first before she can go to the asylum. She can also visit the yakuza at night in Buraza Town if she befriended his brother. However, if the latter is deceased or has gone missing, the Yakuza will no longer appear in the alleyway.

Unlike her daughter, Ryoba has Sundays to herself, which means she will be there standing in her pyjamas, instead of her school uniform. This gives Ryoba an extra day to read manga, earn money, shop in Buraza Town, or skip to the night.

Basement[]

Main article: Basement

The basement appears eerie and dark, portrayed by the dirty gray walls and flooring. The ceiling is a wooden exposed beam ceiling in dull brown, with various types of light sources in a black cover. The staircase in the basement is wooden and has gaps in it. The stairs lead to the living room of the house, where the door is concealed by a bookshelf.

The room has multiple unopened boxes, scattered all over the room, or sometimes found on top of one another. Two bare silver poles can be found on the opposite sides in the middle, and the same number can be said for the bed frames without mattresses. The beds also have ropes attached to the edge and headboard, with some boxes on top. Multiple exposed pipes can be seen on the walls, with some heating equipment and machinery attached. There is a messy brown woodworking table connected to the wall with some miscellaneous items such as more boxes, empty storage bins, and blank sheets of paper. To the right of the table includes a spare bike tire, a non-interactive shovel, a broom, a folded brown ladder, and a brown block TV. There are three chairs in the basement, which include two oak armless chairs, and one beige armchair.

BasementLast

The basement in 1980s Mode.

The basement was added by Kataba Aishi for her daughter after the latter pleaded for a location in the house where she could kidnap her Senpai and mind-break him. Ryoba's entire family does know the existence and the purpose of the basement[9]

One purpose of the basement is to hold students who have been kidnapped, as many as 10 students can be held hostage. The protagonist can torture the kidnapped student so that she can break them into mind slaves. By interacting with the stairs, she can choose to go to school (daytime only), go to town, go upstairs to her bedroom (if Ayano opened the door, then to living room), go to a Part-Time Job (nighttime only), go to the Stalkers House (nighttime only, 202X Mode, must befriend Osana), go to the Dark Delights Bakery (nighttime only, 202X Mode, must befriend Amai) or go to Karlheinz Asylum (nighttime only, 1980s Mode, must befriend rival of the week).

In 202X, the Basement Tapes are also located here under the boxes and can be pickable for each student who is kidnapped. Ichiko Saikou's postcard can also be found in the furthest corner of the room.

Backyard[]

The Backyard is the exterior of the house. It is barricaded by a hedge fence, with the three entrances being the dining room and living room sliding doors, and a small black gate at the entrance near the driveway. There is a small sandy pavement under where the carrot bed is.

It is made up of a small garden, where carrots, flowers, and other plants are grown. It has a dull purple quad-seated table with heart-shaped chairs, a small flower bed near the table, a wood chipper in the corner with a hose stretched in front, two standing flower beds, and a small wooden seating area with two small flower beds in the middle. An extremely large cherry tree can be found in the corner of the garden, across the shed. The tree is encased in maroon red bricks, and a small curved light gray fence that is circle shaped. There are multiple bushes of unknown pink flowers that surround the tree. The cherry tree is even noticeable, as it protrudes out of the hedge fence boundaries and onto the street.

Aishi House 202X Decor (14)

The bushes that surround the cherry tree.

The shed has a plank build with the canopy roof in moss green. Two sacks of an unknown gardening product are seen resting against the shed wall The doors to the shed are open, which include white shelves of miscellaneous items like small unopened boxes, little containers, small gardening sacks, empty pots, a small step ladder, and a Duffel Bag. Hardware equipment is stored in the shed. These items will only appear if Ayano buys them in the Hardware Store in Buraza Town. These items are: Screwdriver, Hammer, Pipe Wrench, Axe, Shovel, Pickaxe, Crowbar, Sledgehammer, Scythe, and Chainsaw.

The carrots can be taken to school in a duffel bag to complete Kenko Sukoyaka's task. However, Ayano has to accept his task first before the option to take the carrots will be made available.

Trivia[]

  • As of April 15th, 2024, it is now possible to exit Ayano's bedroom and explore the house more. According to YandereDev, he wanted Ryoba Aishi to leave a note/postcard for every week. Notifying Ayano how her parents are.
  • In the future, YandereDev may make it possible to allow Ryoba to leave her bedroom.[10] However, three factors would be different than leaving Ayano's bedroom. Firstly, Ryoba's bedroom door wouldn't open, the screen would fade to black in her bedroom then fade back in with Ryoba in the hallway. Secondly, there are no character models or animations for her family members, so the player would be unable to see them. Finally, because Ryoba's sister wouldn't be visible in 1989, she would stay in her room, and Ryoba would only talk to her through the door.[10] Her only appearance would be made if her game is ever made.[11]
    • Another way to see the characters is to walk up to a door, knock on it, and hear a response from a family member who is on the other side of the door. They would just have subtitles, no voice acting.[10]
    • As of June 30th, 2025, it is now finally possible to exit Ryoba's bedroom.
    • As of July 13th, 2025, Ryoba and Ryoba's sister rooms have changed places as the previous placement was incorrect and illogical.[12]
  • Before the Demo build of Yandere Simulator, the player had the option to click the "~" key to change the setting of the room, from daytime to nighttime, and vice versa.
  • The living room was first shown in a blog post sneak peek called "May Preview #3 and Delay Explanation".[13] It was implemented in the June 1st, 2016 Build.
  • The original model used for the first appearance of the bedroom was store bought, and the second model is a MikuMikuDance stage ripped from the adult game 3D Custom Girl by MMD3DCGParts on DeviantArt.[14]
  • The original living room model was taken from an MMD stage.[15]
  • Before the Demo build, Ayano used to be able to kidnap Musume Ronshaku, film her begging and pleading in the basement, send the ransom video to her father to extort him, and free Kokona from the debt. This was used to either befriend or betray Kokona. However, the camera is no longer functional and does not appear in the basement of the Aishi House anymore.
    • The video camera was mounted on a large black tripod that was located in the basement. It had the ability to record things in front of it.
    • The first sneak peek of the camera was shown on the blog post, May Preview # 1.[16] It showed Ayano standing by the camera and a second screenshot of what the video camera was currently looking at. The camera was modeled by Druelbozo.[17] It can be activated through Pose Mode by kgftbz.
  • When Ryoba invites a rival into her house, she asks her family to stay out of the living room.[18]
