Hi! KokiKoker, it is great to meet you!
I have reverted this back to the last edit and have warned that person, do not worry! I apperciate your report, and I have resolved the situation.
If you need to reach a staff member urgently, us helpers can resolve the issue! Let me know on my message wall if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you. I figured I should've sent this on a message wall but I guess it doesn't matter.
It's completely up to you if you want to send it to our message walls, but in my opinion, I would say you should do it especially if the matter is quite urgent.
I encourage people to talk to me on my message wall if they have a concern, issue, or question, and I'll be able to help you with the best of my abilities.
Otherwise, completely your choice (and I won't judge), thank you for your report, and have a great day. (:
Thank you so much @Tuxedoshlyukha !! (❁´◡`❁)
You're welcome!! @Chloesakuramoon ♡\( ̄▽ ̄)/♡
Next time with small vandalism, I suggest you revert the edit yourself instead of making a post. To do this, go into version history and undo the newest edit (undo button)
My reaction if there's a GIANT vandalism:
Then:
After:
*Me slapping the person who did it*
@Z3N1TY0 While I don't have an issue with someone who isn't staff reverting vandalism, it should still be reported none the less. Additionally, if the vandal keeps re-vandalizing the page it becomes pointless to try and revert it for non-staff and is just a losing battle until staff can intervene.
^ Imo the quicker it’s reverted the better. If you’re gonna make a post about small, one-time vandalism (I think this is one-time), at least revert it first and maybe call out whoever did it in version history
That’s just my opinion
Absolutely, I was highlighting that reports should still be made and that normal users shouldn't waste time if the vandal is trying to engage in an edit war. Doing so actually comes with the risk of accidently getting caught in the crossfire. Both wiki staff and automated filters have accidently blocked innocent people during edit wars with vandals.
What do you think?
